About this listen

He didn’t know he was looking for a home, until he found one.

Savannah was unlike any city Derek had ever been to. For the first time since his arrival in Cydaria, Derek actually met a respectable city lord. Natalie Savannah and the city she ruled were much more than he’d imagined.

With this combination, Derek made the decision to put down roots by building a shop from scratch and moving his people in. He was even able to get Silvi the beloved kitchen that she so desired, along with personally meeting Alanah Swan and learning new things about the new system he was thrown into—things that only someone who was truly strong would know.

Not only that, but with his help, the Kingdom of Cydaria was able to find and deal with a threat from within in the form of Gerald Torith. With the threat of Torith now taken care of, Derek can finally relax knowing that the terrible man can never use those he cares about to get to him, and hopefully, the Kingdom of Cydaria will be able to use their new captive to weed out other threats to the kingdom.

However, none of that has anything to do with Derek any longer. He lent his help and got the job done. Now, he’s looking forward to the auction and any gains it may bring him.

Maybe it’s time for him to relax; or maybe a prince has other plans for him. Maybe new trials await.

Don’t miss the fourth installment of Derek’s journey in the System Universe. Join Derek in this unique combination of the LitRPG, Isekai, and Slice of Life genres. He has friends, a bond that should last forever, and even a home. What more could our overpowered protagonist ask for?

It’s Was To Shot For Me

At List Make It 18 Hours To 28 Hours even Higher. Your story line is perfect but it moves to slow so I have about 3/8 Of The Book Gone

Great story

thoroughly enjoyed this story and can't wait for the next book in the series to come out hopefully with the next three months because I really didn't enjoy the series so far I've binged listened to the last three a few weeks ago there was one little critique I believe either his vitality or endurance that was at 1505 in the last book but it's not anymore cos he ate one of the Void beast meals

Great. where's the rest of it?

great just like the last ones. but since the book likes to take its time with the details the plot doesn't move very far in the 13 hours this book lasts for, feels like this book should have been at least 30 hours.

Horrible narrator

The narrator is horrible, but seems to be fine for a Disney sort of audience. I like the story so much that I can suffer through this narrator. Worst narrator from all that I've heard. It's like he's only reading for children. Terrible!

Below expectations

I enjoyed the story of the first three books and had hoped that the forth book would deliver on the promises that the earlier books had made.
The problems with this book are many, but my biggest one of them all is that the narration somehow got even worse than it had been in the first three books. Every single character whines their way through their dialogue and it doesn't fit with the way the book is written.
Beyond the outright bad narration, the book is way too slow this time around. It starts with a section that isn't too bad, but when the main part of what this book was supposed to be about comes, it goes so slowly that at the end of the book, we are less than half way through it. The parts the books spends most of its time of is not even that important to the story or the main character.

I had been looking forward to this book, but now I don't believe I'm going to continue this series.
The narration is bad, truly bad.
The story is way to slow, if otherwise enjoyable.
And last of all, the focus of the story is more than ever glaringly none existent.

Not as good as earlier

The book starts good then feels sloppy. Setting up arcs but doesn’t start/finish them. It’s war… it’s a dungeon that never finished. It and every fight is too long. It explains everything- even menial things. Too many pov changes… I don’t even remember Jace and the system commanders are not needed for the story. Just feels more sloppy
