Sally was fleeing her abusive ex, but he found her, as these upsessed abusers usually do. What he didn't expect was for her to fight back, or that she would have people who would do anything to protect her. For Sally, Donahue was a godsend. She needed someone who understood what she was going through and would do whatever it takes to protect her. My favorite part is how every story is interwoven so I can catch up with characters from previous books.

This is an ok listen, I felt more like teenage romance with possibly a trigger or two. Not impressed with the depth of the plot but it's OK for a light read.

I can't wait to see what unfolds in this series! Despite the common stereotypes associated with bikers, it's already clear that Donahue is willing to go to great lengths to protect his future "old lady", which is truly heartwarming. I was excited to witness Sally's journey as she overcame the challenges she was previously running from. Who knows what other surprises this series has in store?
