Summary
Escape to Corfu with this sizzling summer romance, from bestselling author Mandy Baggot
Eve Collins is looking forward to the holidays.
Her job as a counsellor has been as taxing as it has been rewarding, and she can’t wait for some downtime on the Greek island of Corfu with best-friend, Gabby. But between Eve’s brother, Ben, unexpectedly joining and Gabby’s job at the animal rescue centre keeping her busy, Eve might have to start mucking in…
When Gianni arrives in the village of Episkepsi, it’s like a model has stepped straight off the pages of Vogue Italia… with an uptight personality to match. He may be super-sexy but there are obvious chips on those broad shoulders.
As Eve and Gianni get to know each other and both start to lean into the Greek customs and avrio mentality, an initial attraction starts to turn into something more. But with so much family drama in both their lives, neither of them were looking for a holiday romance...

*Great Escapism*
Eve Collins has a busy life, she is a counsellor a job that takes a lot out of her and a her dear Father passed over 6 years ago and as her father lay dying she makes a discovery that puts an end to her relationship with her mother who she now calls Glenda. Her brother is going through a crisis, an ex boyfriend who betrayed her, so when the opportunity comes up to visit her friend in Greece she jumps at the chance and takes her brother with her.
At the same time Gianni in Italy makes a shocking discovery that drives him straight to Greece. He is in turmoil and there are other factors going on.
This time away makes both Eve and Gianni take stock and others too have revelations and for some they are life changing.
This was not a fast read but an engaging one that I savoured and it shows how the pain of grief, loss and deceptions are often found out.
Eve soon realises the harsh lesson of assumptions and reading things all the way through. So much has gone wrong in her life that she has forgotten to live and has filled her life with more than one job. As her time goes on in Greece is there a possibility of a romance and is it just for the holiday?…
