SO USEFUL!!
As a parent of an autistic teenager, this book felt like a lifeline. My son struggled with anxiety and often felt out of place at school, making his teen years particularly challenging. I remember the frustration and isolation I felt, not knowing how best to support him. This book's step-by-step advice on handling bullying and fostering independence was eye-opening. It gave me practical strategies to help Jake transition to adulthood more smoothly.
One particular chapter on combating anxiety provided tips that we started implementing right away, and we’ve already seen a noticeable improvement in his confidence and social interactions. If you’re in a similar situation, this book offers not just guidance, but hope and practical solutions from someone who truly understands.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Just what I needed
That's it, I thought, now we're have to deal with the hormones on top of neurodivergence. The emotional regulation was already pretty tricky to navigate, with puberty in sight, I knew I had to get some help to be able to help my teen navigate this tricky time and become a confident adult. I have particularly enjoyed the tips about high school and advocating for my teen. I feel much better equipped now.
