Nice to have a low key thriller with believable characters and realistic dialogue. I was a bit put off at first by the narrator’s dour voice but as I got into the story more it didn’t matter and fit the tone of the book well.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book I feel the pacing was even better than the first and the story is very engrossing. Excellent character development and a well realized world with a real feeling of the passage of time.

can't wait for the next one.

Another brilliant piece of work by Peter Laws, read by the excellent Ben Higgins.

This story took me on a very dark meandering journey. It mixed so many elements of psychology, the paranormal, crime, and the distasteful qualities of human-kind.

It's certainly not a story for those with a weak stomach for the morbid and gory. But if you can get past that, then you can do no wrong downloading this title.

If you like it dark and uncomfortable then tune in. Amazingly written by Peter Laws. Unleashed goes to places we know exist but seldom talk about. I need more!!!

Not quite as good as Purged I thought, but passable. I thought it a bit more gruesome in places, particularly in relation to violence against animals. It’s an odd thing but somehow I can handle some human gruesome things, it has the impact of cartoon violence, but when animals are involved it somehow seems more real - perhaps because it can be copied with impunity. If you liked the first book, then I would give this a recommendation too.

After being unsure on the first book I thought I’d try the second, I’m glad I did.
A good story that plodded along at a good pace, a lot less “I don’t believe I don’t believe, no God blah blah” which the first book fell foul of.
Really enjoying the subtle hints of maybe there is something supernatural behind this
