Devastating story that makes you want to get to the end to know the outcome. Unfortunately let down by very annoying female narration. The kind of voice that grates on you. Had to fast forward many sections on that basis.

This was well written but oh such a repellent subject I almost stopped listening but my habit is to always see a book through to the end. Enjoyable it was not. Distressing it was.

horroendous, stunning, moving. its graphic but so poignant. it's like an ode to all child abuse victims, who felt like they didn't have a voice. Beautifully done with a satisfying ending. I need to take a moment to process this book.

I’ve been so used to the last few of these freebies on Audibles plus being terrible that it was a real nice surprise to find that this one was far from that.

I normally use these to help me sleep but this one was just too horrifying ! Nicely narrated, great story line and lots of realism to it. The characters were believable including her change from happy go lucky to driven.

I hope she’s written more !
