About this listen
The invaders are continuing to strengthen their hold over an America still reeling. But in the hills, woods, and countryside small sparks of rebellion are taking hold, fanning the fires of patriotism that will unite the country against a common enemy.
Finally free from the clutches of Fen Shu, President Madeline Tanner refuses to leave her fellow countrymen to their fate. She is their leader and will stop at nothing to protect her people.
While the rest of the world stands by and watches, a few nations decide they must stand against Chinese aggression, and despite threats to their own countries, join the battle.
The Uprising is beginning.

Interesting coalition of allied forces
The idea that separated orphans would somehow be pivotal to the future of mankind was too predictable

Enjoying the series and ending on cliffhanger
I am enjoying this series which I got from the plus catalogue, I like this as i get to try new authors and narrators before committing. This series is different as a new author writes the book each time so there is a different tone. I would say that you need to read/listen to the other books first although he does a good job in getting you up to speed.
I was telling my teenagers of some of the alliances that were being formed - very thought provoking.
The narration as always with these three books worked and makes the books.
Cant wait for book 4 now as it has got me gripped and I want to see how it develops.

Great trilogy
An interesting set of books written by different authors. I think the fact they narrated by the same person gave the characters continuity. I was rake by the characters from the first book. I would like a forth to tie up loose ends.
Given that these are included in the Plus Catalogue, what's not too like. It was a difficult subject handled well.

excellent series of books can't wait for 4th
I really enjoyed this series of books recommend reading one after the other . As a brit found the authors interpretation of sas soldiers and narators voice in Biggles /Dick Van Dyke /everso polite/ eccentric style highly amusing that aside without being to doomsday as book is fictional wished our preasant day world leaders would take a look at such a story and learn something from it only glad Russia was on the west's side in this scenario food for thought

Abrupt ending to series.
Enjoyable story but an unsatisfactory ending. Story got a bit silly in places too.
