It's a lovely story, seems more old-timey, rustic and off the grid than the TV series. Quite different from the TV series in my opinion but I did very much enjoy both.

Love the Netflix series but loving the books better. The story was told so well by Therese Plummer and to hear her journey with Virgin River too.

Bought this in the sale , so glad I did.
The narrator was wonderful ,women's voices and men's were portrayed brilliantly.

I enjoyed the story very much and I could picture Virgin River as a place you would love to visit.

The characters are wonderful and I will certainly read the next book in this series' I need to find out how Mel and Jack are doing with their new family.

Love all the Virgin River books listened to them all. So much better than the TV series which flattens the characters and muddles the relationships. The books are so much more and far better, more real, gritty and engaging.
