Social Media Colliding with Real Life
This is about Izzy a young woman not sure about what she wants to do with her life. She is from a close knit family and very close to her brother. One day she meets her brother to shop for a ring for his long term partner and they have an eventful time ending with meeting her boyfriend afterwards. Her brother goes home early and then a huge tragic event happens and as Izzy in shock tries to make her way home a kind stranger helps her to get home and in all the rush and shell shock she never gets any information from him.
Izzy starts to reevaluate her life, she wants to become an influencer and she needs more followers. She only bumps into someone at work who is even more obsessed than she is and they hatch a plan to become a fake couple.
Then the kind stranger reappears two years down the line, then things become complicated

Completely unrelatable....
I'm a 20-something hopeless romantic, but I just could not relate to any of this story at all.
The characters were so shallow and vacuous, I forced myself to finish it but even with the happy ending, it just felt like a waste of time.
