Wonderful storyline & characters

I thoroughly enjoyed this - the first one I’ve listened to/read by this author. I’ll definitely be continuing with the series!

The back story is really interesting & I really liked all the characters, they were really varied but fairly straightforward to grasp, not always the case with audiobooks which have a number of them. I found each of them easy to visualise, which always makes the story fully enjoyable.

The book completely lives up to its promise from the description & I definitely recommend it!
