About this listen
She thought she was her own worst enemy...until they came along
Following the death of a patient in her care, Radha begins taking Valium to control her anxiety.
She tells herself she’s fine, but as the pressures of being a perfect wife, mother, and daughter mount, her little habit spirals into addiction.
When she’s forced to find a new source of pills, she stumbles into the blackmailing clutches of Glasgow’s underworld.
A mistake that could cost her everything.
They give her an impossible choice: face personal and professional ruin or have blood on her hands by helping them deal.
As she fights to protect all she holds dear, can she protect herself?
A gripping and emotional suspense novel about a woman who risks it all to juggle it all.
Perfect for fans of Jo Spain, Paula Hawkins, and Gillian Flynn.

Amazing psychological thriller. Love it.
Not often does a book take me by surprise, but November, it appears is the month for surprises.
I don’t even know what I expected from What I Hid From You, but it wasn’t what I got.
The first half was good. Laying the groundwork, as it were, but, for me, the second half was amazing. This is where Radha’s world truly starts to unravel as she falls deeper and deeper into the seedy underbelly of crime.
WIHFY is full of suspense, tension, heartache and break as well as some scary moments that keep you on edge and, (if you’re like me) guessing as to what links the past to the present and how it will eventually end. And let me tell you, I was completely shocked at the final twist.
I loved being able to enjoy this via the audiobook. 1 because audio is a fantastic way to get lost in a book and still do housework (boring, I know, but I’m old. Lol) and 2 because I love how the narrator, Kat Harrison, was able to pull you into Radha and Gunbirs life, taking on their pain, fear and anxiety, allowing you to experience every single emotion that they felt. It made me question what would I do in their situation. Brilliant!
Plus, I do love a Scottish accent.
Although fiction, it is a very real story and shows how, even the most law-abiding of citizens, can make one decision that ultimately has devastating consequences.
Thank you, Heleen & Love Book Tours, for adding me to the audiobook tour in return for my honest review.
I’ll be reading more from Heleen and narrator Kat Harrison.

Gripping story - loved every word.
We all have secrets - but how far would you go to keep them and protect your loved ones?
This is a gripping psychological thriller that keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout. Unsure what will happen next and where the lies will take the characters. The main character’s lie intertwines with those of other family in a way that is subtle and hidden from the other. This adds a greater depth to the story.
I liked the references to real life issues such as the postal scandal where post office masters were wrongly accused of fraud. It added a credibility to the story of the main character and a sense of urgency to her situation. If the innocent could get caught what might happen to her?
The narrator was excellent- the book was read with clarity and expression - each character having their own unique twist on tone and expression. It was so easy to listen to - a real pleasure.
