I expected this book to be depressing but it wasn't. It felt very real and I definitely felt I understood more about mental and physical abuse in a relationship after listening to this. It also kept you wondering what would happen and had a very believable ending. Nicely read and with sensitivity.

This was a heartfelt, moving story. It was also a pleasant surprise to end with the successful procescution of the ex-boyfriend. Having had at least 2 friends who have suffered at the hands of partners this was further insight on which I can help them.
