About this listen
Brought to you by Penguin.
I am now in a place where I've learned to have good vibes, to be true to myself, but it hasn't always been this way. This is not a traditional memoir, and it's not a self-help book either. It's a series of lessons learned from a life lived, many of which I've only realised in retrospect—after all, it is only through living that we can learn and grow.
I'm still learning, still a journeyman, with much to still absorb; still making mistakes, still striving. But I feel privileged now—after a lot of interesting twists and turns along the way—to share my journey with you.
This is my story of how I have learned to tune back in and rediscover my good vibes.
From DJ gigs in Southampton nightclubs to chart-topping global fame, Craig David found overnight success as a teenager. With no place for feelings of insecurity, he learned to push them down, building a reputation as the man who always had a smile on his face.
Further down the line, things began to unravel. All the negative feelings Craig had been ignoring rose to the surface. He had to change his thinking.
In Craig's much-anticipated first book—part-memoir, part self-help—he shares his journey of reinvention, self-love and acceptance, and the lessons he's learned along the way.

Definitely Re-winding
I am so glad as a superfan from hearing rewind when I was in high school, following all his remixes of 7days and walking away to the b side songs such as human and 4 times a lady (only true fans would know those hidden gems) I am so glad we are now getting to hear The Pioneer himself Craig David speak in his own words.
Can we please find the girl at the bus stop? I mean is she married? Did she ever know it was Craig…I need answers lol.
This book is so relatable from start to finish. I love the vulnerability of this book. I never realised that the parody effected Craig so much but seeing things from his point of view I can def see how this hurt him. Us fans always saw him as someone who represented U.K. Urban music and put that music on the map in a major way.
I love how the titles of each chapter are song titles from his album that’s a nice touch.
My only gripe with this book is that it is too short…or maybe I just enjoyed the book so much that it flew by. Craig is the perfect narrator I’ll def be re-winding this book.

Excellent!
I’ll be listening to this one again. Truly life changing advice from Craig. My favourite parts were when he talked about the power of your intuition and inner voice. Amazing and thank you, Craig!

Great for people who are new to self development.
This is an honest account of a struggle with toxic positivity amongst many other things. Really good to hear his story and how having the right people around him helped him on the path to recovery and self actualisation. Great listen for younger people who are struggling to make sense of life and starting on their own path of healing. Potentially not as useful for people who are further down the road with it. Still good to hear him speak honestly about his life.

Been your fan then, still your fan now
Dear Craig,
Thank you for recording this beautiful audiobook. I’ve listened to it completely and have just finished it.
It’s not easy to be vulnerable. It’s something I’ve always struggled with but I hope with your story in mind, I’ll go on to improve my situation and finally find my vibes. This has not been the case the past ten years. I’ve gone from one workplace to another, only to discover that my excitement, although present at first, quickly waned and all that was left was depression coupled with the feeling of guilt and shame.
Maybe one day I’ll find the right place for me. A place where what I’m doing ignites me, lights me up, makes me want to get up from my bed every morning. You’ve been lucky to have found it early on in your life. But you’ve gone through a lot of struggle, outer and inner, to make your journey a blast, and I hope I can, too.
You’re a very unique person, not just in voice but in heart and spirit as well.
Yours,
Toré

Amazing!!
I’ve always loved Craig David, but after reading this… I love him even more! I was hooked as soon as I started listening and the fact it’s read by the man himself, made it all the more enjoyable! A mixture of life story and life lessons we can all learn from, I would definitely recommend! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
