Summary

This audiobook includes a special introduction read by John Fury.

'My dad is truly a Man amongst Men' Tyson Fury

I'm a traveller, a bare knuckle boxer and the father of Britain's most successful sportsman and heavyweight boxing champion. My life has been anything but ordinary. Now I'm setting the record straight.

From Netflix's At Home With The Furys this is the Gypsy Warrior's story unfiltered and in his own words. When Fury Takes Over is an insider look at the Fury family, from Tyson and Paris to Tommy and Molly, and a revealling and insightful look at the Gyspy way of life.

Not bad, more to come..?

Hotly anticipated I finished this within 2 days. From his childhood to the current day, John takes us through the rollercoaster that has been his life to date. Full of fascinating stories, I felt this book would have benefited from being released in volumes. Volume 1 being his early life which I found the most intriguing.

Interesting

Very interesting insight into life of the travelling community. I've come across quite a few in recent months and I must say one thing: Their Kids have lots of respect for their parents, it also shows in this book. They must be doing something right.

Great listen! I've also enjoyed learning but more about great boxers and epic fights.

People dismiss Travellers yet this book proves you could learn quite a lot from Them.

Very interesting story about an interesting man

I like John fury because he’s a bit mad and doesn’t care. I loved this audiobook, but felt like it was an intro to his life and maybe there is more to come?

Enjoyable Listen

Disagree with most of his life choices, yet agree with most of his ideals, philosophy and views. Really enjoyed it, would have even better if he read it out. Not a big issue as watch him so much that could hear his voice in my head.

Excellent read

An unapologetic and insightful reflection of the good, the bad and the ugly that is John Fury.

I didnt quite expect John Fury, an ex convict and supposedly a quite violent man, to educate me on how to live my life

I didnt quite expect John Fury, an ex convict and supposedly quite violent man, to educate me on how to live my life and how much screen time to have. Also, I didnt enjoy his bible preaching and superstitious stories. I hoped for a memoir of a man who was willing to make himself vulnerable. i didnt get it. What I got instead was a self rightous, bogoted story of a man who self-promotes himself.
