As Olivia's days count down in Seraphim Academy, things may have lightened up, but she still holds her promise to finding Jono. But things don't go to plan as the year comes to a close at seraphim.
I enjoyed the book, especially how the author has written drawing you in, connecting with the characters and their emotions.

I was skeptical about getting this book especially when I discovered that Olivia (female lead) was a succubus. The reason being, I thought it would be a book all about sex and her struggles between men. Elizabeth Briggs doesn't go over the top in every sexy moment possible. Yes there are some very steamy moments but Olivia isn't portrayed as a slut that enjoys and embraces her succubus side to the fullest. She only has sex out a necessity which I find to be a unique spin.
Elizabeth Briggs manages to keep you in the dark about who exactly her father is as well which is neat. Although there are hints through out and I had made an accurate guess but only because I knew my angels. Elizabeth still manages to keep you in the dark about who her mother is as well which is very unique and I have a hunch but I don't know my demon names as well as angel ones.
The voice performance took me a little while to get used to but that is the same for all audio books for me. They performed it very well and I look forward to listening to book 2 soon.
