Summary

Real wolves bite...

I was taught my whole life about the importance of true mates, how when you find that one wolf for you, everything falls into place.

Everyone who taught me that was a liar.

When I found my true mate, happily ever after sure as hell didn't start, but hell definitely began.

I ran away, and now I've been searching for peace for weeks as I drive around the country.

I didn't mean to take the wrong road.

I didn't mean to make it to that small town.

And I didn't mean to meet two men, who set me and my wolf on fire.

But here I am somehow, and peace is the last thing I've found.

And don't forget about the serial killer...

This is a rejected mate series, filled with scorching hot wolf shifters who take what they want, enough steam to burn you up, and a hidden town filled with secrets. You'll love this paranormal romance if you love True Blood, Twilight, or Vampire Diaries.

Wild Moon is book one in a new wolf shifter trilogy by C.R. Jane and Mila Young.

Great story

Great suspense, heartbreak and then finding herself. Love a shifter book. Can’t wait to dive into book 2.

Narration is spot on for these characters!

Good story but this needs EDITING!!

I genuinely like these authors, and the story though a bit confusing is good enough.

However, the narration is appalling. I’ve considered giving up several times due to such awful editing. The girl voice is annoying and she takes like a pause breath every comma or full stop like a small child would. It ruins the flow of otherwise well written story. Both she and the male voice often repeat their lines, on one occasion a line was repeated FOUR times.

I really suggest the authors get this redone ASAP. .. I bought the whole series, based on loving their other work… now I’m stuck with these narrators and just such poor editing: I feel for anyone who struggles through this book. Story would be five stars, narration is no stars - hence the 3 star review …

The actual story is good

The actual story here is good, I’ve actually just bought the 3rd in the series to listen to. The trouble is that it isn’t that well written or performed. The sentence structure is clunky and often the same word is repeated more than once in close succession. The narrators are also not great. They both pronounce the same name differently, lines are repeated and large pauses are left for no reason. The female narrator especially mispronounces several words and it’s not from a dialect perspective. Overall I will keep going because I want to find out what happens but it could be much more enjoyable and I definitely won’t re listen.
