Short but entertaining!

I like the uncomplicated way this book has been written, enough story to keep my attention to the end. It’s only a short book, I usually like 10 hours plus, but the story didn’t lack any detail. Good narration in a slight Scottish accent which is good to listen to, great voice adaptation to each character. A good listen.

Yet another Scottish Yarn

Mr Hammond"s stories are easy going and help pass the working day as crime in rural Scotland was solved there also seems to be a abundance of sexual activity in those parts

Not sure about this one

A bit ‘twee’ for my liking but will appeal to others who like that sort of thing.

Sadly, doesn’t work.

If judging by the narrator’s tone and delivery alone, one would think this audiobook an uproarious comedy in which the author is mercilessly sending up his mother-in-law.
Nor does it work as a murder mystery for me, as I’m afraid that I found it rather boring. Sorry, I would not recommend this one.
