Yesterday's gone
If you could sum up Yesterday's Gone: Season One in three words, what would they be?
intriguing, exciting, cheesy.
What did you like best about this story?
The concept. I'm a big fan of survival and si-fi titles and this was almost a combination of both.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
Black island.......
If you made a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
yesterday's gone, the nightmares aren't.
Any additional comments?
Apart from some really cheesy lines from some cheesy characters this book really sucked me in and left me wanting more. I'll be listening to season two.

Drags in Parts But Can Be Pacy
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
No. There are better books I would recommend in this type of genre such as Mountain Man.
What did you like best about this story?
Boricio Wolfe is a fascinating character and is excellently represented by the narrator.
Which scene did you most enjoy?
The telling of their first sexual encounters on the "road trip" which helped develop the character of the serial killer giving him a 3 dimensional feel rather than making him the usual caricature that writers often do with such a character.
Did you have an emotional reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
No.
Any additional comments?
I had decided not to continue with the series about three quarters way through the book but then changed my mind. The story is good but drags for awhile towards the later part of the book. However, as it moves towards its conclusion it picks up the pace again and draws you in. I will continue with the series as I am eager to discover how some of the character's stories progress (I couldn't care less about some of the other characters).

Excellent story, excellent performance by all concerned. The narrators brought it alive in suitable chilling fashion.

intriguing
A decent story (so far) - but some v cheesy voice acting by a few cast members sort of breaks the tension... I have bought season 2 anyway, cos I want to see where they take this weird scifi/horror mash-up.

Great book
Great book, really enjoyed it, but I wished it would be read with male characters and female characters were read by male and female readers, sometimes it felt a bit cringy to hear a male voice trying to speak like a female character and female trying a male character, but overall its a really good book with amazing voices.

Good story - no ending
I really liked the story, the actors were great - however I was dissapointed that there is no ending. I know it's a series, but I have no option to leave it at series 1.
