• Urantia Paper 15—The Seven Superuniverses—§4. The Ancestor of Universes
    Jun 23 2025
In this episode of The Cosmic Citizen we continued our study of Urantia Paper 15, The Seven Super Universes, and focused on Section 4: Nebulae—The Ancestors of Universes.

This section offers a fascinating glimpse into the cosmic mechanics behind universe formation, blending spiritual insight with astrophysics. It’s more than timely, given what the James Webb Telescope is revealing to the world daily.

This section explains that creation and universe organization are ultimately governed by the Universal Father and his creative associates. They unfold via a structured and law-abiding technique. It begins with the mysterious “force-charge of space,” which originates from Paradise. It is the primordial ancestor of all materialization.

Paradise force organizers play a pivotal role in transforming space potency into primordial force, which evolves into primary and secondary energy forms. When these energies become responsive to gravity, they are shaped into the physical circuits and energy channels that support universe structure.

Nebulae are referred to as the great “mother wheels” of creation. They are vast energy cyclones that eventually give birth to suns, planets, and entire systems. Nebulae vary widely in size and output, and their formation marks the beginning of universe evolution.

  • Urantia Paper 15—The Seven Super Universes—§3. The Superuniverse of Orvonton
    Jun 10 2025
On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen, we continue our study of Urantia Paper 15, The Seven Super Universes, by focusing on Section 3 – The Superuniverse of Orvonton.

Our superuniverse, Orvonton, is the seventh grand division of the grand universe. Most of the starry realms visible from Earth belong to Orvonton and the vast Milky Way starry system represents its central nucleus.

Orvonton consists of suns, dark islands of space, double stars, globular clusters, star clouds, spiral nebulae, and countless planets. And the spheres of Orvonton are traveling in a vast elongated plane, the breadth being far greater than the thickness and the length far greater than the breadth.

The section also discusses the ten major divisions of Orvonton, eight of which have been roughly identified by astronomers on Earth, while the remaining two are harder to distinguish from our internal vantage point.

The rotational center of Orvonton’s minor sector is located in the dense star cloud of Sagittarius, around which our local universe and its associated creations revolve.

The Andronover nebula, which played a role in the formation of Earth's solar system, is also mentioned.

  • Urantia Paper 15—The Seven Super Universes—§2. Organization of the Superuniverses
    Jun 2 2025
On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen, we continued our study of Urantia Paper 15, The Seven Superuniverses, with a reading of reading Section 2: Organization of the Superuniverses.

Paper 15 explores the vast cosmic structure surrounding the central universe of Havona, describing how the seven superuniverses move in an orderly counterclockwise procession around the Central Isle of Paradise, forming a grand cosmic wheel with Paradise at its hub.

This week's study contains the basic cosmology of The Urantia Book, revealing the hierarchical structure of the superuniverses. It shows the structure of the cosmos as consisting of progressively larger administrative units:
Local Systems – Each local system contains approximately 1,000 inhabitable worlds.
Constellations – Each constellation is made up of 100 local systems or about 100,000 inhabitable planets.
Local Universes – Each local universe holds 100 constellations or approximately 10 million inhabitable planets. (Our local universe, Nebadon, belongs to the seventh superuniverse, Orvonton.)
Minor Sectors – Each minor sector consists of 100 local universes and about 1 billion inhabitable planets.
Major Sectors – Each major sector contains 100 minor sectors and about 100 billion inhabitable worlds.
Superuniverses – Each of the seven superuniverses is composed of ten major sectors, and approximately 1 trillion inhabitable worlds.
The Grand Universe – Seven superuniverses make up the present organized grand universe, consisting of approximately seven trillion inhabitable worlds, plus the architectural spheres and the one billion inhabited spheres of Havona.

We hope you enjoy this fascinating study from The Urantia Book.

  • Urantia Paper 15—The Seven Super Universes—§1. The Superuniverse Space Level
    May 26 2025
This week on The Cosmic Citizen we beigan the study of a new Urantia Paper, Paper 15, THE SEVEN SUPERUNIVERSES.

This paper explores the vast cosmic structure of the universe as described in The Urantia Book. It presents a grand vision of the seven superuniverses revolving around the great nuclear hub of the cosmos, the central Isle of Paradise.

In this first study, we explored the concept that, from the perspective of the Universal Father, the universes are essentially nonexistent. God interacts with personalities rather than physical structures. The Eternal Son and Infinite Spirit govern the universes through their Creator Sons and Creative Spirits. The Paradise Trinity oversees the seven gigantic inhabited superuniverses that encircle Paradise and Havona in a vast cosmic wheel. The Seven Master Spirits radiate their influence outward, and this shapes the Grand Universe.

We read Section 1. The Superuniverse Space Level, which reveals the orderly movement of the seven superuniverses as they traverse a massive elliptical orbit around the First Great Source and Center. While this local universe, and our planet Urantia, appear to be plunging into uncharted space, higher celestial records confirm that the universes follow a well-ordered procession. The seven superuniverses are engaged in a majestic cosmic dance, revolving in harmony around the divine center.

  • Urantia Paper 14—The Central and Divine Universe—§6. The Purpose of the Central Universe - Continued
    May 19 2025
On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen we finished our study of Urantia Paper 14. THE CENTRAL & DIVINE UNIVERSE, by studying the rest of Section 6. THE PURPOSE OF HAVONA.

What a fantastic study of Paper 14 this was. Here is what we covered overall:

At the very center of all creation lies a marvel beyond human imagination: the perfect and divine universe of Havona, containing one billion pristine worlds arranged in seven cosmic circuits around Paradise. Unlike our evolving universe, this eternal core represents the original pattern of perfection - a blueprint that the Creator Sons aspire to recreate throughout space and time, making it the ultimate template for all cosmic creation.

The Central Universe, AKA Havona, serves as the grand design of existence. It is the perfect model for all Creation. It’s a universe that is replete, unlike the evolving universes that surround it. It is also the final training ground and the ultimate destination for those who ascend and seek divine perfection.

Unlike the evolving and imperfect cosmic realms, Havona stands eternally complete. It is a divine masterpiece, and it serves as a sanctuary, a school, and a gateway to Paradise.

Havona is also the ultimate training ground, a passageway for ascendant souls who seek wisdom and understanding. For all who journey inward from the farthest reaches of time and space, Havona brings them to the threshold of divinity.

Beyond its role as a place of spiritual growth, Havona is also the residence of divine beings. The Universal Father, the Eternal Son, and the Infinite Spirit find their home in the realm beyond Havona, but this perfect universe serves as an essential bridge between the material worlds and Paradise. It is here that celestial personalities, messengers, and teachers refine their abilities and prepare to guide the evolving universes.

Havona is the cosmic anchor and steady foundation upon which all creation rests. While imperfection and uncertainty may ripple through the evolving universes, Havona is the perfect blueprint for all of them. It is an example of what creation can become when harmony and truth reign supreme.

Havona is more than a place, it’s a promise—a testament to the eternal, guiding presence of divine wisdom. It stands as a beacon for all beings who strive for perfection.

On this episode of The Cosmic Citizen, we continued our study of Urantia Paper 14. The Central and Divine Universe, with a reading of Section 4. Creatures of the Central Universe.

This section describes the diverse forms of life in Havona, the perfect and eternal central universe. It teaches that seven basic types of beings exist there.

Unlike life on the evolutionary worlds, decay and death do not exist in Havona. The natives of Havona were created by the Paradise Trinity. Their existence transcends human concepts of time and space, reflecting the eternal nature of the Paradise-Havona system.

Havona natives participate in the physical and spiritual economy of the divine realm. While they serve as guides and ministers to beings ascending from the superuniverses or descending from Paradise, their own existence holds intrinsic significance beyond these interactions. Their worship and devotion fulfill the ideals of divine beauty and truth, mirroring God’s will by their very nature.

The central universe is teeming with intelligent lifeforms seeking higher realizations of divinity, ultimate truth, and absolute reality.
