The Talmud is by far the most important set of books in the Jewish faith aside from the Torah or the first five books of the Old Testament. In many ways, the Talmud may even surpass that in importance. I say this because if the Talmud did not exist, the laws that are written in the Torah would not make any sense. So in this way, it is like Jewish Canon law. Just like Catholic Canon law explains biblical texts of the bible, so too does the Talmud. It does not only explain laws, but it goes into great depth on many other topics as well.

There has never been a goddess in all the western traditions as maligned as the Goddess Lilith. She has been called the epitome of all that is evil in the world. Belial is, by far, one of the most popular demons in occult lore. He is second only to Satan, and in some circles, he is Satan himself. When looking through the occult literature, one finds rituals to and descriptions of Belial, but there is little to no tangible history. We all take the occult texts as gospel and assume that what we find is all there is regarding Belial.

I have received several emails stating that the Ganesh mantra added that extra spark they needed in their lives.

The great Canaanite god Baal is one of the most maligned deities in Western religious history. Only Satan is considered more sinister and evil. This is sad because Baal is not evil at all but has been done an injustice, and that is something I will be discussing in great length later in this book.

In Judaism, there are several entities often referred to as Satan. However, one stands out above the rest, and his name is Samael. Yes, we recognize names like Belial, Mastema, and Asmodeus as being the princes and kings of the demons. However, it is Samael who has the distinct honor of being the father of the left-hand path, or as it is called in the Kabbalah, the “Sitra Achra”, or the “other side”. He is the top of the top and the father of all the Klippot that leads humanity astray.

Welcome to the second installment in the Baal on Buddhism series in which I take complicated Buddhist topics and make them approachable to all. I was not initially intending on making this the second book in the series, in fact, I wasn't going to write this book until sometime in 2018. It has been on my list of books to write for several years, but an odd chain of synchronicities occurred in which pushed me to write this now. I took it as a sign that my perspective on this practice is coming at the right time for many people. It also gave me the opportunity to reconnect with my own shadow self in the process.

Many magickal texts have been written around the Watchers, and I am hoping to add my two cents to the discussion. Several decades ago, I worked with the Watchers. Aside from the rituals of course, we will be covering the basics of the Watchers' story as it is understood in Genesis since it is there that the first inkling of the story emerges in the scriptural tradition. Also, some texts exist that predate Genesis that contain a proto-Watchers narrative. Some of these early stories have some connection to Ancient Mesopotamia.
