For Rona Shively, even the good news is bad news. She's just returned from an extended stay in her hometown of Clarkston, Ohio, and she's all geared up for a change. Rona is dealing with some demons; both real and imagined. It is still a mystery to her how people can act the way they do. She's trying to have a more positive outlook, but people keep trying to bring her down. Meddlesome exes, lies and deceit, cheating boyfriends, and conflicting emotions about who she's supposed to be keep Rona hopping as she hands it all over to her newly found Savior and says simply, "Thy will be done."

Rona Shively has been thinking a lot lately. Her mind is going in about a million different directions and for good reason. What starts out as a meeting with a potential client ends up being the title sequence for a whole series of messes that make absolutely no sense. She's trying to keep herself calm, but given the circumstances she'll be doing good just to keep herself out of jail and...out of the morgue.

Rona Shively needs something. She's not sure what it is, but she knows it's something. Summoned home by a mother she hates, she heads back to Ohio to check on things. When she gets there, her mother asks her to help out a local reverend who is a long time friend of the family. Rona soon finds herself surrounded by greed, corruption and criminals who will stop at nothing to get what they want. With the help of a handsome, local P.I., she tries to piece it all together before the bad guys figure out she's looking. Through it all, can she "keep the faith"?
