Ishmael Jones and his partner Penny have been summoned to remote Cardavan House, home of the world’s largest private collection of Ancient Egyptian artifacts, for the unveiling of George Cardavan’s latest acquisition: a bone fide Egyptian mummy. This supernatural thriller short story is perfect for a quick listen on your car, bus, or train journey or to enjoy at home with a cup of coffee. It follows the unusual events happening to a girl at a London Underground Station who stops to help a distressed stranger on her way home.

What happens when a snail falls in love with a little girl? Obviously he needs to write her a love letter! But which letter? And in what color? All the garden creatures try to help him in different ways that nearly lead to disaster. But our snail has stamina, and by accident and perseverance, he makes a wonderful discovery on his daring adventure.

Marginal gives us a picture of a way of life - that of the wandering homeless who drift from one hostel to another, sometimes across continents, sometimes within a street or two of where they were born, neither expecting nor even particularly desiring permanence in any aspect of their lives. These are the "marginal" ones of the title, who together with the staff of the institutions they pass through constitute the dramatis personae of the novel.

During this ever-changing time, in the last 10 months, I have put together Poems to Please to follow my novella last year. Some of the poems are about love and nature, and I hope you will find a lot that will make you smile. Writing has been a great outlet in these challenging times. I have enjoyed doing a podcast and two radio interviews, and hope to do another one soon. After being chosen for an entry to The Hailsham Festival 2020 Anthology with Coronavirus days, this gave me a real boost. Debbie Milner.
