About this listen
Fans of #1 New York Times bestselling author Lora Leigh’s scorching Breed series first met Cassie as a little girl in Elizabeth’s Wolf. Now Cassie has finally come into her own as a young woman, and she’s about to discover the one she is destined for—but it is unclear whether her fate is to be mated for life, or marked for death…
The Breeds are humans altered before conception with the DNA of the predators of Earth. But although they all carry the genetic material of beasts within them, Cassandra Sinclair stands apart. A unique mix of wolf, coyote, and human, she is revered by many—but preyed upon by others. She is fiercely protected by her community...but no one manages to stop her when she slips away one day to offer her body in exchange for her sister’s safety.
The man she succumbs to surprises her by unleashing her inner animal in ways she never dreamed possible—and provokes her deep, furious rage. To Cassie’s shock, he is the mate she has long awaited. She may never be able to forgive his deception. Still, as dangerous enemies track her, and as the threat of all-out war between Breeds and the humans who despise them hovers in the air, they must join forces and hold fast to each other.
But the passionate union between them holds a potential that could change the world—and some will do anything to stop it....

I just love this series.
it's been a long while since I've ripped my toes into the breeds world. the last time being when this book was released a few years ago.
generally I'm a readernover listener but will listen when I can't read. The minority like my Nalini book are some that I could listen to all day. I feel like this could become that for me too.
Cassie and Dog are as all consuming as I remember. I love these dynamic characters and their continuous growth throughout their journey.
It wasn't easy by any means but it was worth it for that end.
I jumped in for a re listen before Danes Mark is released and I'm so glad I did. I love this world and the many faces that grace it. Even if the Like of Jonas frustrate me as much as I love then.
it's crazy, action packed and emotionally gripping.
I'm really looking forward to Danes Mark now and I'm also curious to what's after. especially after being reminded of the Epilogue in the story.

Excellent
Another excellent breeds book I only hope we don’t have to wait as long for the next one. Cassie has been a favourite of so many breeds since she wrote her first letter to dash and moved with her mother to sanctuary. Quiet a shock to find out her mate is Dog the infamous breed of so many tails.

a really good read well up to standard.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book from beginning to end it was a really good story well written. I have enjoyed the whole breeds series and eagerly look forward to the next book coming out as always. The narrator Brianna Bronte has narrated all the books I have listened to so far in this series and she has become for me the voice of the breeds. For me this is the best series by this author.
