I love that both the main characters are beautifully flawed. They are both trying to keep their pasts in the past but are so drawn to each other they can’t help but begin to fall. This book is chocked full of emotions. Hudson appears to be such a jerk but underneath it all he really does have the ability to care and cares deeply for Alayna. The book is set around a trendy new nightclub that Alayna works at and Hudson is the new owner of. It is full of life and vibrancy. There are more than a few heated moments between these two, in fact I was definitely fanning myself from time to time.
Carly Robins does a great job of giving us the paranoid Alayna. We really get a sense of what it’s like living with an obsessive disorder. She has a great range of emotions and voices in her performance. I really enjoyed this audiobook and have gone straight onto the next in the series.
Once again Laurelin doesn’t disappoint on any front. There is a great storyline, characters you want to get to know and champion, whose traits develop over the course of the book and heat that will melt your ear buds out of your ears or your screens right in front of your very eyes!!! This is book 1 in the trilogy but it doesn’t end in a cliffhanger. Although all 3 books are out so binge away baby!

This book is exactly what I needed!!Hudson and Alayna... WOW
I really love Alayna she has to be my favourite fictional character.. yes she can be so fixated on herself sometimes and she cries a bit more than I would like (not as much as Anastasia 50 Shades :O that was just shocking!) but you really do start liking her more and more as the story goes on.
Where do I begin with Hudson...Huds?? Boy O boy did I feel like slapping him (I get way to involved with fictional characters *_*) but you start to understand him and yes you will, like me, want to slap and shout at him but he's such a good character... He's deliciously dominant but marshmellowy on the inside!!

What an read! Such an interesting premise, such strong and interesting characters. Such a rollercoaster ride of emotions. Have listened to this many times since.One of my favourite audiobooks of all time
