Summary

They say monsters are made, not born.
He was both…

Chase

As the second youngest Ravage brother, I’ve spent my entire adult life rectifying our tainted family name and keeping my urges behind closed doors.
Until my best friend’s little sister shows up at The Hunt ready to play, and I lose control.
I tell myself it’s just a taste.
Except, with her, I should’ve known a single taste wouldn’t be enough.
And then the good girl I’ve known most of my life drops to her knees.
For me.
From that moment on, I knew she would only ever be one thing.
Mine.

Juliet

Presenting my brother’s best friend with a pros/cons list of why he should take my virginity seemed like a good idea at the time.
I thrive on information, data, and lists, and it made sense on paper.
Until he rejected me and walked out of my life.
Now, eight years later, my life is falling apart despite my careful planning.
Tempted with an invite to Ravage Castle, I show up seeking answers to questions I’m not sure I can handle.
Except, a furious Chase finds me talking to another man.
Under his gilded, arched roof.
I soon learn that despite his controlled exterior, Chase seems to have one weakness.
Me.

Prey Tell is a full-length, brother’s best friend/billionaire romance with primal play themes. It is book one in the Ravaged Castle series. All books can be read as standalones.

Warning: This book contains a possessive, jealous antihero, explicit sexual situations, and strong language. There is no cheating, and there is a HEA.

🌶️🌶️🌶️ 💋🔥

I need…. No! I want a Chase Ravage! I loved both Juliet and Chase. The chemistry was sizzling hot. I also love Jackson, he's a pretty cool brother. The story is tastefully written with the perfect balance of story and spice. Best book I've listened to in a while.

Amazing story

What an absolutely amazing start to this series. Chase and Juliet are so hot. I definitely need to get myself a Chase Ravage.

I loved how protective Chase is of Juliet even if it meant that they missed out on so many years together because he thought it was the right thing!!

The spice in this book is so good. I mean, it has a lottle bit of everything and damn!! Bring a fan, guys, cause it gets HOT.

The story was so good and had me hooked from the very second I started listening. The narrators did an amazing job at bringing the characters to life and made me enjoy the story even more.

I can't wait to jump straight into the next book it the series and see another Ravage brother fall head over heels

Curling toes and other parts for this story!

From the very first page i was taken by the extreme hotness of this story!
The search for attraction, the primal need for connection on every aspect in their relationship. The feral ways he makes her (us readers) feel and the exquisite way the narrators did their job. Chapeau!

Run Parker Run

This is a fast paced, second chance romance which introduces us to the first Ravage brother, Chase and the girl that got away, Juliet. I enjoyed the build up to the relationship itself; the characters had known each other for years and the prologue was enough to give you insight into that period of time as a reference point rather than using a time jump in the main story. Although Chase tries to treat Juliet like one of his usual subs (partly because he doesn't think he's good enough and partly because of his relationship with Jackson) his safeguards go out of the window pretty quickly once he lets her in. The BDSM storyline was handled really organically and I never felt that there was lots of exposition about rules (particularly considering the nature of Juliet's job) and I liked how Chase explained things for example like why limits aren't just for the sub, consent and the importance of trust. Communication is definitely one of the key themes in this story.

Outside of the main couple, I loved Jackson and Juliet's relationship; although its the only real conflict in the book I'm glad it didn't last long. Likewise with the girl on the stairs; I'm glad this never went down the old flame route. I also liked the resolution of Dylan and Juliet's engagement; it was a good way to show Juliet learning to use her heart instead of her head and that there was no pettiness from either side which was such a refreshing change!

The narrators did a great job; Vanessa Moyen's portrayal of Juliet brought life to a character who was learning to lean into her emotive side after relying on facts and figures for so long and Aaron Shedlock's Chase was completely believable as a man who was finally letting his guard down to those around him.

Although this is part of a shared universe, the timeline is short and the amount of characters we meet is pretty contained so it does feel like a true standalone. There are some hints about the other Ravage brothers (Miles is my favourite at the moment but Liam is on my radar too) and I'm looking forward to hearing their stories.

My interpretation of the star system;
3 stars - I enjoyed it; would read the author again
4 stars - I really liked it; I am invested and definitely want more from this author/series
5 stars - I loved it; I engaged with this book completely and I have added all the authors works to my TBR

*rolls up sleeves* RUN!

I was given this audiobook in exchange for a review but given I was half way through reading the book I jumped and begged for a chance to listen.

Book one of the series and I am hooked on Ravage brothers already.
Chase is a great start and sexy ass Dom with a way with words that balances the down right filthy scenes with the care and romance.
Juilet is a straight to the point FMC that does her research before throwing herself at her goals.

Hearing 'Run' through my headphones made me want to join a hunt. Both voices are perfect for this story drawing you in.

Great actors

I enjoyed the audio as the actors were great and brought the characters to life. The story was good if a bit predictable.

almost dnf

I really hate it when a book doesn't meet my expectations! I thought this was going to be amazing but alas I mourn my lost credit. Chase was a great guy & I loked Julie but I read a lot and brothers best friend , forbidden romance is always a plus. primal play, dom-sub. Only the narrators made me finish this book because they were brilliant. It started well and then dragged , also is it really an age gap if it's below 10 years age difference? I expected Possessive Hero but there was just one incident where he was Possessive. The spice was just ok, the heat was not scrotching,
