Teacher's Toy by Vivian Murdoch is a dark romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Logan Anare and Marie Hawkins. This is the first book in the Loftry University Playthings series.

This is the first book of Vivian's that I have read, and it won't be my last. I really enjoyed the chemistry between Professor Richards and Melody. I personally would classify this book as more of an instant connection erotic story with very little romance. It's more about Professor Richards carnal desires for his student Melody and introducing her to the BDSM lifestyle.

I can't wait for the next book in the series Bratva's Brat to be released on audio so I can get Grigori's story.

Logan and Marie did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like erotic romances, dark romances, BDSM romances, age gap romances, or taboo (student/teacher) romances.

This story had me a little twisted. The characters frustrated me a little bit, but I got over it. The narrators added to the story and feeling from the story. I put it down, and I was able to really get into it later. Very interesting story.

Dark, gritty, surprising, Vivian Murdoch comes out with a book that captured my attention from the start. Not what I was expecting which is what makes it all the better! Melody has a scholarship, and her goal is to keep it. But she is struggling, especially in Professor Richard's class. He is especially handsome, and now he is giving her a chance to join his private group. how does this all play out? I cringed at times and wanted to scream, but then I felt the changes as the story developed. Melody finds her way, realizes what is important. Though shocked and uncomfortable, she finds her way. Richards is the one I loved to hate and hate to love. If you love dark, delicious erotica, this will fill your need.

The narration adds to the spice with Marie Hawkins and Logan Anare. Hawkins has the perfect new adult sound and plays Melody to a "T". Naive, but far from innocent, she finds her niche. Anare once again pulls out all the stops for the dark, and dangerous Professor Richards. He is malicious and gritty, yet his heart is found. Loved this team bringing the story to life.
