Summary

It's just over a week until Sam will be Binding with Jared, and the only thing she wants is to spend that time relaxing and preparing for the ceremony. Unfortunately, she seems to be asking too much of fate, because suddenly she's lumbered with a number of distractions that have the potential to postpone, or even cancel, the Binding.

There's a guarded fiance to crack, a complicated assignment to deal with, Jared's ex to alienate, and a bunch of snobbish Master Vampires to win over - or offend, whichever. On the upside, things couldn't possibly be any worse, could they? Actually, yes they could.

Due to a cruel twist of fate, something strange is happening to Sam - something that is changing her in ways she doesn't like or understand. With the help of Jared and those closest to her, she has to not only handle the threats to the Binding Ceremony, but find a way to fix what has been done to her - and fast.

Even better than the first book

I absolutely love Suzanne’s style of writing. She always has a good plot with well developed characters, including strong female ones. There is a lot of spicy, some action and laughter too.the narrator interpretation of the characters are amazing and I love their accents. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is because of the editor’s error when they left the narrator’s note in the audiobook, that interferes with the flow of the book and this mistake should have been rectified by now.

The Bite that bands - 2nd Deep in your Veins Book

Really enjoying the series will move on to the 3rd book, my only real
Issue is the awful British/English accent for 'Samantha '. Its just so bad, it would have been better if the narrator hadn't tried so hard at a cockney voice which was just off putting. Other than that the narrator also left a note for the editor near the end of chapter 7 (about 1.05 secs from the end), its sad that the publisher let this pass, it obviously should have been edited out. So poor quality control there.
All of this doesn't take away from the fact Suzanne Wright is an awesome writer and I will continue reading/listening to her awesome books.

A Great Finale

A good book with an exciting action packed and raunchy story, with some very amusing lines. As I mentioned on my last review shame about the Cockney dialect, but apart from that good oration xxx

Huge Touch Her and 💀 Vibes!💥💀♥️

The Bite That Binds: Deep in Your Veins Series, Book 2
By: Suzanne Wright
🎧 Audiobook Narrated by: Justine Eyre and P.J. Ochlan
Length: 10 hrs and 49 mins
📖 Ebook Read Using Kindle Unlimited

Another enjoyable audiobook. The accents were quite bad, especially the male narrators attempts. This would've benefited greatly by being a dual pov narration.

Jared and Evans' Sire turns up in this book. She's determined to try and disrupt their binding ceremony week in the hope of winning Jared back!🙄 Sam doesn't take it well 😆

While on a mission, Sam is kind of attacked. They tell her they've changed her! Over time, her powers start to fail, and she gets crippled by pain. Where will these changes end, and will they ever get to their binding ceremony?

Deliciously steamy, violent, and romantic.😍

Pretty good but not great editing

The book is interesting and the performance is good but I prefer for the main characters voice to be consistent throughout. Also on chapter 7 there was an editing note ( note to editor about some wording).

Book 2

I really enjoyed this book, Suzanne is are great author,I own many of her books, I do have a tendency of sticking with my favourite author 's i always look forward to the next book or series before searching for newer author. I like that the narrator's managed to keep the character's sounding real. The story line is funny romantic hot in places and I honestly laughed while listening to this book

This second in series is as fantastic as the first

This is the second book in the Deep in Your Veins series and I am thoroughly enjoying it.

The characters are a wonderful mix of good, evil and somewhere in between. Suzanne Wright has penned a series that is equally strong in both plot and characters. The romance and steamy moments are mixed with suspense, danger and adventure.
Justine Eyre, P.J. Ochlan, the female and male narrators give us the same outstanding level of voice acting that we were introduced to in Here Be Sexist Vampires.

An Amazing Story That Doesn't Let You Go!

Suzanne Wright is still a relatively new-to-me author and this is only the second book of hers I've read but definitely wont be the last. I love her writing style; the pace she set for her story, the characters she creates and the gripping plot-lines.

I love that this book brought out so many emotions; yes, I did growl like a wild woman at times in frustration, I wanted to hide from the violence and cruelty and yes, I did shed a tear or two. However, I also smiled and chuckled out loud at all the lighter moments, humour and well written banter. ;-)

I enjoy a story more when the main female character is intelligent, resilient, resourceful, self-reliant and has plenty of gumption. Sam ticked all my boxes and then some. I love her sense of humour, sarkiness and an innate sense of right and wrong. All the characters that Ms Wright has created for this series are complex and multifaceted which makes both the villains and heroes feel more believable.

Once again, I downloaded the narration by Justine Eyre and P. J. Ochlan and enjoyed the variation that these actors brought to the duel point of view. My only remaining criticism is that, to my English ear, Ochlan's version of Sam's London accent not as good as Eyre's but I did get used to it as the story swept me away.

The Bite That Binds is a bloody good book and I have already downloaded book 3 through my Kindle Unlimited subscription.
