Helpful to understand your children and yourself
Anyone who had kids through COVID, or anyone who survived it themselves honestly, should probably read this book. Not only were those children’s social skills drastically affected during such important developmental ages, but we don’t realize how ours were affected as well and how that translates onto our children. At certain ages, they are such sponges and learn so much of their emotional regulation from us. Just think of how hard the past few years have been for you psychologically, this is majorly amplified for a child going through these times. This book is very helpful in understanding where children’s behaviors stem from and how to help them cope.

Must have for parents and caregivers!
Wow! I am so thoroughly impressed by this book. The author shows insight and true understanding into the heart of the problems facing children today.
Social skills, especially at an early age are critical. And it's one of the many things negatively impacted by COVID-19. But this audiobook comes to the rescue! I really enjoyed listening to the personal experiences of the author. 23 years in her field is a lot and she clearly knows her stuff. By following the suggestions in this audiobook, parents and caretakers are better equipped to help their children to be more social, cooperate with others, and just contribute to their overall success in life. I highly recommend this book and it is definitely worth your time to listen not once but many times!

Lord Knows We Need This
Society is so different than it was pre-pandemic, and it shows in so many ways. I'm glad for this book because it teaches about the social skills and attention needed to make sure our children are still growing up in a healthy and mentally conducive environment.
