Hilarious

Mad, laugh out loud funny. Read this to combat the depression of living in the world in its current form

Madness

Essential reading for anyone with a keen interest in the end of the world or the various eateries of Shepard’s Bush.

Verging On Madness

Great to hear Frankie chatting, and you can just zone out and listen to his iconic voice. But it's pretty tough to follow as a story. There are so many in-depth irrelevant stories that are barely tied to the larger point. Almost verging on madness. Huge drawn out descriptions of meaningless stuff. I don't mind jokes about anything at all, but listening to 10 minutes about German people eating their own waste for no reason is a bit wearing. Reading this as a book must be tough. Still, glad to see he narrated it (apart from the introduction don't be put off by that voice). And most importantly great to see someone looking the reality of the future square in the face.

Relentlessly bleak and hilarious, just like real life.

Think of Frankie's amazing monologues from New World Order, but 10 hours of it and it's all a cohesive monstrosity of the inevitable.

Listened from my ditch

Hail Zendeya.

What a ballad of words to keep me company as I wait for the bomb drones. It's a hilarious listen that has HBO level story.

Hilarious and strangely feels like it could happen!!!

Classic frankie energy distilled into a book loved it from start to end. Laughed so hard in some places I may have had a break from reality myself?

Essential prep for an inevitable future

A harrowing yet doubtlessly accurate account of humanity’s destination. Still, you’ve got to laugh, and laugh I did.

Tried so hard to like it

Let me first say I love Frankie Boyle and his standup, here comes the guillotine podcast and first book. I just could not get into this, it was just like ramblings of ideas one after another. I didn’t laugh once. Maybe just not for me.

What a mistake.

It was total rubbish. I expected so much more of Frankie Boyle, and was disappointed.
