A great collection of horror gems
This is a fun collection of crime / horror stories. Familiar themes of the apocalypse, Old Nick and hit people with a heart, but well executed so to speak and well performed by the actors.

A sliver of the Tudor’s usual great work.
Not C.J. Tudor’s usual excellent work in my opinion. 1 or 2 memorable stories, yet a couple others maybe not so memorable.
Wouldn’t knock it too much though, particularly as the rest of her books have been gold.
Looking forward The Drift just as much as before.

A mixed bag
I like this author and have several of her books safe in my archive to listen again. Short stories are often a can of worms but she manages to hold interest but I really do prefer her novels. Worth a listen - but only once!

Cool book!
I like short stories and love C.J. Tudor. A couple of the stories weren’t amazing, but the majority were great!
Good performances too!

I love this author!
I didn’t realise it was a collection of short stories when I downloaded it, a very pleasant surprise! Great collection of darkness and light! Thanks CJ for another great distraction.

Amazing as per
Was about to write as expected another amazing book but these short stories and the little introductions to C J Tudors life and thought process makes this an amazing read/listen - and as always the narrators chosen knock it out the park! Not one story I disliked 100% will read again and also will recommend!

a fantastic collection
I love CJ Tudor's work. I liked some stories in here more than others, but most of them I would have easily listened to more of. I was really disappointed when some ended - the sign of a great story! Can't wait for her next book!

I don’t get the hype
I really wanted to love this like all C.J Tudor’s other books, but I seriously couldn’t get on with this. I found each story too short and a little boring, sorry. I skipped the first story after 5 minutes and gave up on story 4. They were read very well though.
