Was not as good as other books, but had a nice twist made me worried for hazel and daisy!

My daughter has read the previous 4 books and we thought we’d try this on a long car journey for the next in the series. Sadly we found the narrator very bland… we tried to get into the story but it was all rather monotone and gave up after a measly 20minutes. I sampled some of the earlier books read by a different person who sounded so much more engaged. Such a shame.

This book was great and had a gripping story but it took a while to get started. Apart from that the plot was great and I really enjoyed reading this book!!

Loved meeting Hazel’s family in Hong Kong, and finding out more about life there. And Hazel and Daisy are as charming and clever as ever. If you’re looking for a pacy read with plenty of excitement, twists and turns, this is the book for you.
