About this listen
In a dangerous time before her own...a dangerous attraction. Amelie Besson is on the cusp of attaining the life she’s dreamed of—until she finds herself stuck in pre-war France, fifty years before her time. The country is about to be under German rule, but her most immediate problem is Henri Durand, the arrogant and infuriatingly handsome vineyard owner upon whom her survival depends.
The fiercely protective Henri challenges everything Amelie holds true—particularly her hatred of the gift that brought her there in the first place. As the bond between them grows, Amelie will begin to wonder if the life she’s returning to is actually the one she wants, and if her connection to Henri might be strong enough to surmount any obstacle…even time itself.

Epic romance
Absolutely loved this book! The premise wasn’t entirely new as I read and highly enjoyed the first two books in the series but this plot was refreshing nonetheless. The chemistry between Sarah and Henri was palpable long before they started any sort of relationship and the tension was portrayed beautifully. The air of mystery and suspense throughout kept me listening nonstop. I am so thankful that the best book is out already because that cliffhanger had my jaw on the floor.
Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor knocked this out of the park. I felt every emotion deep in my chest with their performances and the story played out in my mind so vividly with their help. As much as I loved the first two books in the series, I am so glad I waited for this one on audio because it elevated the experience for me immensely.

Fascinating & Moving! Amazing Story & Narration🎧
Elle O’Roark does it again and pens another winning novel, a time-travel historical romance like no other and one that will captivate your attention and tug at your heartstrings the entire time. “Across Time” is the start of Amelie’s and Henri’s story, and it is a fascinating start with an ending that leaves you wanting more. Amelie has a gift, she can time travel and her late sister spoke to her in her dreams, and she needs save someone back in 1935. Despite not being very good at time traveling, she gets to where she intended, back in 1935, pre-war France, landing in a barn on Henri Durand’s property, who finds her and holds her at gunpoint. These two were like oil and vinegar, bonking heads from the moment they met, and it was just great to watch, even his sister being a refereeing at first but then intentionally putting them together, because she saw what they did not, that they were each other’s soulmate. This is an intriguing, multi-layered story and how it all played out, with plenty of drama, heartfelt emotions, a touch of angst, some mystery, twists and turns, and a slow burn romance. Like the first two books of the series, the writing, plot, world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. Elle O’Roark, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride. I am looking forward to what happens next and where you take these wonderful characters.
🎧📚🎧 Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East did an amazing job bringing portraying these characters, giving each a voice that was fitting, accents and all. I loved how they took each role and owned it, sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Ms. Brentmoor as Amelie was perfection, grasping every aspect of her personality, from her vulnerabilities to her witty sass to her fierceness, and she was just as amazing as Marie, with a gorgeous accent. East nailed it as Henri, showcasing his personality to a tee. Their pacing and tone were just right for the story and they captured all the character’s emotions and had you feeling them all. These two made a fantastic team, with voices and talent that complemented each other and a performance that elevated the already amazing story to another level. Thank you for other wonderfully entertaining listen.

A Slow Burn Time Travel Romance With A Cliffhanger
Across Time is the third audiobook in the Parallel series by Elle O’Roarke (Elizabeth O’Roarke.) See Book Description Above. The book is about Amelie Besson and Henri Durand and is a story of time travel, and love, and learning about the life you want instead of the one you think you should have. I loved how modern conveniences were so important to Amelie until she realized how empty they were when she was separated from those she loved most. I loved Amelie and Henri, and I loved the relationship they developed. I loved the way Henri challenged Amelie’s thinking and how willing he was to challenge his attitudes on the roles of women in his time. This was a really slow burn novel and it was well worth it! The narrators, Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East did an exceptional job bringing this story to life, mastering the different voices and accents required for the story. The audiobook ended in a cliffhanger and I cannot wait to listen to the sequel, Across Eternity. I recommend this audiobook for listeners who enjoy a historical fantasy romance. If this is you, you should check it out today! I give this book 4.5⭐️ rounded to 5⭐️ on Goodreads and retail sites.

So good! Love this time travel series!
I can't begin to even say how long I have waited for this book to come out in audio! After the first two books were released, I was completely hooked. Amelie is just about to get engaged to Mark, the man she loves when she finds herself thrown back fifty years to in France. Just before the German invasion, she has landed in Henri's yard, the most gorgeous, arrogant man she has met. He lives with his sister, watching over her as the his mother wished. He is protective and stubborn. Now she needs to figure out why she is there, when she is going back and what she will be leaving behind! This time travel story has it all. It's adventure and friendship. It's excitement and fear. It's love and passion. And it's a cliffhanger! Now I can't wait til Across Eternity is out to hear what happens next!
Bring on the French accents with Shane East and Samantha Brentmoor. These two talents bring it all to the table with this narration. East is Henri, full of bravado and oh so swoony. Brentmoor is Amelie, confused, guilty, adventurous and passionate. Love these two and look forward to the next book.

Henri & Amelie
This series is sooooo good!!!
Sarah (Amelie) dislikes her time travel powers but there’s an inner calling saying she must travel to France 1938. There she meets Henri and Marie, the person she’s suppose to help.
Amelie and Henri’s love story is so beautiful even though Sarah was with someone else back in her time. This story revolves not just around them but also Marie and the looming WWII. The 4th book promises to be great as it will conclude not just Amelie and Henri’s story but also how Marie is the key to their kind’s salvation and the link to the first two books in the series. I just can’t wait!!!
Samantha Brentmoor has once again delivered an amazing performance. Shane East, although we had no Henri’s POV, delivered a certain je ne sais quoi to the whole story narrating Henri’s lines in Amelie’s POV.

Across Time
My first book in this series, but I enjoyed Amelis and Henris story a lot.
Ameli is a timetraveller and travels into a time way before her own. She lands in France in the late 1930s, meeting and living with Marie and Henri.
A fascinating story with lots of history and of course love.
Can't wait to listen to the next one.
And of course, it was a pleasure to listen to Samantha and Shane.

Beautiful. Enchanting.
Even after reading – and absolutely loving – the first books in this series, I have to say: What an utterly captivating and refreshing tale. I thoroughly enjoyed and savored every minute of it.
Across Time is a wonderfully imaginative and unique story that artfully intertwines elements of enemies-to-lovers romance, a historical setting, angst, romantic suspense, and a touch of science fiction. It's both engaging and original, woven with complexity and depth, showcasing a cast of richly developed and relatable characters.
The narration by Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East brings Amelie and Henri to life flawlessly, beautifully. It overflowed with emotion and character, making the journey of Amelie/Sarah and Henry even more mesmerizing than it already is. Now I’m on pins and needles to delve straight into the next/last book of the series.

Love these narrators!
I had such a good time listening to this audiobook! Amelie and Henri's story was full of angst, tension, chemistry, and love. I could not pause this audiobook and I can't wait to listen to Across Eternity after the cliffhanger!
Samantha Brentmoor and Shane East were phenomenal in this audiobook and I loved their performance so much! These two were perfect as Amelie and Henrie!
