About this listen

!! NOW WITH AN EXCLUSIVE BONUS CHAPTER !!

'Amber's series breaks the rules in the best way. Her main character is strong, capable, and unapologetically powerful. There is no damsel here. This story is filled with fast-paced action, an in-depth world, and a romance that goes from simmer to boil. If you like romantasy, read this!' RAVEN KENNEDY

Don't miss this addictive BookTok sensation - a perfectly steamy, high-stakes, TRUE enemies-to-lovers, dark epic romantasy!

WHERE THERE ARE GODS, THERE ARE ALSO MONSTERS . . .

For a thousand years, the Etherworld has known peace.
Until now.

Many centuries ago, desperate to save her dying sister, Dianna made a deal with Kaden, a monster far worse than any nightmare. Locked in servitude to him, she is forced to hunt down an ancient relic held by her most dangerous enemies: an army led by Samkiel, the World Ender.

After the Gods War, Samkiel hid from everything, denying his crown and deserting his people. Now, an attack on those he loves sends him back to the realm he never wished to return to, and into the sights of an enemy he had hoped to forget.

With every world at stake, Dianna and Samkiel are forced to set aside their animosity and work together, before all is lost . . .

Don't miss the next books in the series, THE THRONE OF BROKEN GODS and THE DAWN OF THE CURSED QUEEN. . .

'A wicked ride from beginning to heart shattering end. Leaving me literally screaming for more. I couldn't turn the pages fast enough to get more our morally corrupt heroine who you can't help but root for, along with the giggle inducing banter between her and the heroic god Samkiel' HANNAH NICOLE MAERHER

'Once in a while I read a series that reminds me of just why I love enemies to lovers, slow burn, and morally grey characters so much. Gods and Monsters is that series. This is perfection. Amber Nicole's Dianna is the FMC of my soul' NISHA J. TULI

couldn't stop listening

I haven't read a good book for ages, but as soon as I started listen to this story I haven't stopped. Recommended read, I just can't wait to read the next book.

This was just...MWAH.

I had seen mixed reviews about this book and I'm a huge, spicy/dark romance fan but I'm new to the adult fantasy genre, this was such a 'page turner' so to speak. I loved the FMC but at first I hated her, the character development was really good and the chemistry and banter between the two were amazing. It flips the usual tropes of a Morally grey MMC and a Well meaning FMC around, she is Morally Grey but arguably justifiably so and he is a true fantasy hero however he is the grump and she is a sarcastic and a little bit arrogant sunshine.

I had lumps in my throat more than once in this book and out loud laughs too, the spice is there but its just a little but the chemistry is just fabulous... loved loved loved equally can't wait and nervous to read the next books.

Amazing book!

I loved this book and I’m about to start the next one. The MFC is the ultimate anti hero, she is amazing. I have fallen in love with the main characters and I can’t wait to start the second book in this series. If you enjoy Books like From Blood and Ash, ACOTAR and crescent city, this book is for you!

Magical Creatures

I'm not quite sure what it is, but I just didn’t have the motivation to finish the book. It didn’t grab me the way I hoped it would! 🤔

Great book, poor narrator.

The story is great. The book is amazing. The audio book is boring. hard to listen to. monotone and one person narrates all the characters. So disappointed with the audio book, but love the book book.

Not my favorite but good concept.

Personally I just thought that it was quite boring and the descriptions were unnecessarily long and boring. Nothing really happened throughout the book, and it was very predictable too.
Concept was good but as much as I like a slow burner I feel like even snail would be faster. Unfortunately I’m one of those who once start have to finish so I’m really hoping for the second book to be better.

On the good side, proper enemy to lovers story.
