As someone who works in outdoor education, I have seen the amazing changes adventure can have on people and children escpially. Adventure revolution provides us with the total justification to embark on a life of adventure and fun (type 1 and type 2). If you don’t want to embark on an adventure macro or micro after reading/listening to this book enjoy your life of limited stimulation. Brings to mind an advertising slogan “Less stuff, more stories”.

Belinda Kirk is a legend but what is fascinating about this book is how she shows everyone of us can be an adventurer in our own right. The link between adventure, well-being and mental health is quite strikingly illustrated. This is a brilliant book with deep insights explained in a lucid way.
