About this listen

To gain a formidable new card, Arthur must brave the unknown in a hive notorious for its evil side, as this thrilling deck-building fantasy continues.

Having survived their journey into the Dark Heart, Arthur and his dragon, Brixaby, have a new goal: complete their Legendary card sets. Unfortunately, the next Legendary card is locked away in Blood Moon, a hive with a reputation for chaos, lawlessness, scourgling eruptions, and—rumor has it—dedicated dragon hunters.

Still, Arthur and his retinue feel they have little to fear. Then again, they also don't have much knowledge of what actually lies ahead. What they find is a hive full of training and leadership opportunities—if they're able to avoid paying the blood price.

But the lure of the Legendary card in the Blood Moon Hive may be a ruse. In fact, it could very well be a trap set by the scourglings themselves. Or something even worse . . .

The fifth volume of the hit progression fantasy series, featuring a unique card-based magic system, now available for the first time in print!

Critic reviews

"Honour Rae's All the Skills has everything I love: great writing, an intriguing mystery, and badass dragons. Well, some of them are badass. Some are dweebs, and that makes it even more awesome."
―Matt Dinniman, bestselling author of Dungeon Crawler Carl

Bit short. Still good.

Not a fan of of the shorter run time. Still cost the same and i don't like being shorted. Story is still good though.

Brixaby!!!! enough said

Absolutely loved the latest installment. The story moved at a fantastic pace, keeping me engaged from start to finish with its interesting plot and clear direction. Brixaby's narration was a highlight, bringing a perfect touch of light humour that truly enhanced the experience. I'm already eagerly anticipating the next installment in the series

All the top tier characters and plot progression

The character growth feels satisfying and rewarding, and the gradual reveals about the world and lore are great to ponder. I'm eagerly awaiting the next in the series.

As usual

Great work as usual, slower start but definitely picks up to the usual standard. Trying to write more reviews.

Excellent, TOO SHORT

Really fun listen, excellent continuation. In terms of the actual book my only flaw was that the first chunk felt super slow and the last chunk felt super fast paced. Still a 4.5 for me though.

BUT the main thing is that it was only 11 HOURS. It took me like 3 days to finish it! Other audiobooks for the same price or credit cost are at least 18 hours long, and especially when the series used to be about 15 hours long.

I feel like this book better placed the series for meaningful expansion and sparks a lot of joy as to the future of the series.
