Summary
As the haunting echoes of a future apocalypse linger in his mind, Nick Gallows toils to save humanity from complete destruction, using his regression into his past to relentlessly train and prepare the world for what is coming. Yet, as Nick bears the weight of humanity's future, his new fiancée blindsides him with a dangerous new adversary.
While Nick tries to track down the information he needs to deal with his new foe, he must uncover the shadowy workings of a Russian criminal gang, bringing him into exotic dungeons to face off against strange and vicious monsters, forcing him to use the depths of his future knowledge and his growing skills as a trainer to keep himself and his friends at the Gold's Guild gym alive.
When time weighs heavily, it's time to hit the weights in this regression LitRPG/Gamelit story of dungeon-diving, leveling, stats, and facing down the apocalypse!

Inconsistent narrative
The main character forgot that he was already given the information about an antagonist a chapter earlier by his fiancee, then spends another chapter negotiating a deal for that information with someone else.
There are no consequences for him focusing exclusively on one non-combat stat with him being just a little weaker than people with what should be twice his strength. No slower than those that should be twice as fast and no less fragile than those that should have twice his constitution.
That exclusive focus on charisma should make him useless in high level combat, yet he can fight in melee side by side with people his level or higher who are more balanced and should have at least double his attributes in physical stats.
He did get a charisma based spell, which is good, but he needs to be shown at a disadvantage physically, because he really is no match to physical classes and he has no previous experience with the spear to rely on.
The story is entertaining through, so it's worth a listen.
