Summary

Naasir is the most feral of the powerful group of vampires and angels known as the Seven, his loyalty pledged to the Archangel Raphael. When rumours surface of a plot to murder the former Archangel of Persia, now lost in the Sleep of the Ancients, Naasir is dispatched to find him. For only he possesses the tracking skills required - those more common to predatory animals than to man.

Enlisted to accompany Naasir, Andromeda, a young angelic scholar with dangerous secrets, is fascinated by his nature - at once playful and brilliant, sensual and brutal. As they race to find the Sleeping archangel before it's too late, Naasir will force her to question all she knows...and tempt her to walk into the magnificent feral darkness of his world. But first they must survive an enemy vicious enough to shatter the greatest taboo of the angelic race and plunge the world into a screaming nightmare....

Edge of my seat to the end!

Nasser is amazing! Andy more than anyone knows. Embroiled in the beginnings of the cascade and the wars that will follow. So much going on in this book

Bloody fantastic!!!!

Absolutely adore Nassir! He is the best character, so childlike in a lot of ways with his brutal, tactless honesty, his open curiosity and disregard for politics and etiquette. He is just fabulous!!! Andromeda is his match and she balances him beautifully. An incredible story and definitely my favourite so far. Just love this series. What on Earth will I do when I finish it?!……start again of course! X 20 stars ✨

Good with a stand out ending

I enjoyed Naasir's story especially getting to the bottom of what he is! (That was driving me crackers!) and I like Andromeda, her character is a nice addition to the world Nalini has created, but what really made me sit up and listen was the ending with Raphael, which wasn't about either of them. I am on the edge of my seat wanting to know what's next for the characters in the last chapter...
