This would be a great stand alone book but the Zak Walkers are best in order obviously. Has you on the edge of your seat then laughing your head off within seconds, especially when the excellent William Hope is narrating the “bad ladies” scenes. (There’s one bathroom joke I nearly needed the bathroom myself i laughed so hard) Sorry to say goodbye to Zak and his cohorts but a fitting goodbye

This series of books is an example of the rare genre; the amusing but genuinely trilling mystery. Kept me entertained all the way though. Only found it because i searched the narrator's work. He has a voice and delivery which is perfect for this type of book.

What did you like most about Bad News?

Just finished book 4 and will miss the characters if no more Zack Walker books are forthcoming.It's always a worry that after a good first book in the series the author then loses the drive for the following books. No worries here ....Barclay manages to not just keep up the tension, whilst adding humour, but actually ramps up to a great climax at the end of the series.Huge Linwood Barclay fan and I eagerly await his next publication.

Read two other books by Linwood Barclay they were great. this one sucks! the story the narrator, everything! I don't know if I can even finish listening the book

Good story marred by racist accent at one stage + narrator ordering tea and discussing another take

racist accent in chapter 23, narrator orders tea end of chapter 18. These amateurish glitches mar a good story
