About this listen

Lord, help me....

A beautiful, young American girl wound up stranded far from home on my doorstep.
When she begged me to stay, I did what a good priest would do, and I said yes.

But a good priest wouldn’t spend his days thinking about the fullness of her ruby red lips or feel the sting of envy with the way she draws men to her like flies to honey.

A good priest would have stopped things before that first touch. And he certainly wouldn’t have given into temptation so easily, but when Cadence Thorn walked in, she brought me to my knees.

A good priest takes his vows seriously.
But I am not a good priest.

Forbidden Love

I really enjoyed these forbidden romance story and I felt like it was very realistic to what I would imagine temptation and human attraction would be in a forbidden situation.

I have read Priest by Sierra Simone, and I liked this one more. I would say that there is more hot scenes in Priest, but this one felt more real. They struggled with their lust/love for each other in a manor I could logically imagine would happen. I am so glad they for their HEA.

The narrator did an amazing job, I love the accents and voices that she use and the story felt so real because of it.

I loved it

I loved everything about this taboo steamy romance. It was very well written and showcased just how screwed up both the priest Callum and love interest Cadence are in their own ways. Their lives are multilayered. You want to dislike Cadence for what she does and how flippant she is with her life and her body, but then the author lets you into the reasons why she acts the way she does. The same with Callum, you want to hate him for the selfish choices he makes but then you find out that his life was in disarray early on, leading him to seek structure and guidance, possibly in the wrong places. This kept him locked in a system where it was difficult for him to accept change and make choices. Both end up being great characters in a realistic story that had me laughing a number of times too. Auri sounded like she struggled a bit with the male voices where she got a bit croaky, but overall I really enjoyed this book.

Taboo in all the good ways😉

This is a wonderful glimpse into what it might be like for a priest who falls for a much younger spirited woman. Hold onto your socks because this is a steamy romance with tons of passion and spirit.

Cadence finds herself duped from her so called new friends that she meets while on a European tour. She starts off as a very naive girl and turns into a spirited woman who goes after what she wants and doesn’t let herself be beaten down after being stranded at the B&B where it all begins.

Callum is broody and handsome and bossy as hell and holy cow a PRIEST. Plus he’s Irish. How is Cadence supposed to ignore that! She doesn’t and boyyo it get hot! Steamy scenes where you think OMG if they get caught! Wonderful ending!

Sara Cate writes believable characters who will steal your heart with situations that carry you along reading/hearing for a HEA and wraps your mind into what it would be like.

The narrators were really nicely matched and had me thinking yes I want to visit this little Irish town. Both are new narrators for me and hopefully I hear them again soon. Auri Alden was realistic for Cadence and brings an emotional performance of a spirited young woman who goes after what she wants. Stephen Borne has a wonderfully deep voice that was so believable for a brooding sole whose providence is tested over and over again.

Forgive me Father for I have sinned

I am so glad that Cadence got her story. And this story couldn’t have been more perfect for her.
There is so much growth, she had a hard lesson to learn, but she worked through so much.
There was so much angst and pent up emotions and passion.
I enjoyed that this was a little bit of a slower burn, and that Cadence worked hard and earned her HEA!

All the feels!!💚

This is the first audiobook I've embraced and i am a complete lover of Sara Cate's books!!

"𝓗𝓸𝔀 𝓶𝓾𝓬𝓱 𝓪𝓶 𝓲 𝔀𝓲𝓵𝓵𝓲𝓷𝓰 𝓽𝓸 𝓵𝓮𝓽 𝓵𝓸𝓿𝓮 𝓯𝓸𝓸𝓵 𝓶𝓮."

Oh my Lord, our heavenly father! Beautiful Sinner is everything & more!  A brooding Irish alpha priest meets Candence a stranded lost soul. These two lost souls will take you on one hell of a journey emotionally and damn i loved every second.

The dual voice overs for Cadence & Callum is beuatifully enticing! Callum voice is husky and deep giving you all the friggin feels. Cadence's voice is beautiful, fiesty when needed & breathtaking!

Callum and Cadence are just couple goals and there is some serious chemistry building but a fierceness to both of them has you feeling their emotions, feelings & draws you into their world.

I literally squealed and felt every drop of emotion and my heart clenched in pure pain & happiness for them throughout this book. Callum is SWOONWORTH & has my heart sumeraaulting!!

"𝓞𝓾𝓽 𝓸𝓯 𝓪𝓵𝓵 𝓸𝓯 𝓖𝓸𝓭'𝓼 𝓬𝓻𝓮𝓪𝓽𝓲𝓸𝓷 𝓼𝓱𝓮 𝓲𝓼 𝓫𝔂 𝓯𝓪𝓻 𝓶𝔂 𝓯𝓪𝓿𝓸𝓾𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓮"

This ending is breathtakingly beautiful and i am so thankful to have recieved this an audio!!

Deliciously taboo

What happens when you are in another country and your one night stand leaves you high and dry with nothing but the clothes on your back? Cadence finds herself in Ireland at a bed and breakfast, and comes to terms that she needs to straighten out her life. Finding her place in the B&B, she finds that working there is very rewarding and the camaraderie is exactly what she needs. All but one. Father Callum is not very supportive of his new employee. But it's not her work ethic. Or her performance. Or her age. But the sheer fact that he is attracted to her. Where will this attraction take them? A taboo romance of age gaps and religion, this very steamy and delicious story had me from the first chapter. I love the setting, and Sara Cate is wonderful at giving us the beautiful imagery of Ireland. The couple is challenged, and I love that it's not easy. It makes their story that much more exciting. It's another well written romance that makes you think and makes you love. The best kind in my opinion!

Auri Alden and Stephen Borne narrate this gem and they are spot on with their performance. Alden has the perfect sound for Cadence. She is young, a little bratty, a little jaded but ready to change and it's all in the inflections Alden uses. Borne is incredible as Callum. This is a very complex character and you can feel his turmoil and struggle with who he is, but you can also feel the love he has. This team is well cast and a pleasure to listen to.
