This was an intriguing story! I loved the chemistry between Sierra & Logan.
The way that the struggles with addiction and loss were represented were so well done.
I appreciate that we got to see some of Logan’s inner turmoil and how he struggled with himself.

Low self esteem, heartache from the loss of a brother and the insidious entanglement of the drug world, all take their toll on the budding relationship between Sierra and Logan. This is a well written storyline, with lots of deep feelings being brought to the surface. Worth more than 5 stars and highly recommend. The narrators did an amazing job of bringing all the characters to life.

I really liked the characters and the storyline even though there were some inconsistencies throughout. I also liked the narrators when they were doing their own characters but they didn’t change their voices much, if any, for the other characters and soft-voiced tattooed bad boys don’t really do it for me I’m afraid.

This is your standard tattooed bad boy and innocent (virgin) good girl/spring breaker and local storyline. If any of that’s your catnip, then you’ll love this book. For me, there needed to be more character development to get me truly invested in their story.

The content warnings mention addiction, but the drug dealing is far more prevalent in the plot than addiction and the struggle of getting sober.

Narration: Both narrators are new to me, but gave very convincing performances as their respective MCs.

Not my favorite, only because I know Sara Cate can do so much better.

This was my first book by Sara Cate and I'm sure it wont be the last... Well, I know it wont be... I'm already waiting for book 2 to hit audible!

I found this story to be heart breaking and heart warming, all wrapped up in a big bow! A perfect mix of love and hurt with a captivating side order of consuming plot! I totally rooted for Logan and Sierra! I can't wait to know what happens next within the Wicked Hearts world!

A perfect narration combination, really bought the story to life.

This is the first book in the Wicked Hearts series. Each book can be read as a standalone book. This book is Seirra and Logan's story. I love a good tattooed bad boy and virgin story. Shan Roswell and Kenneth Elliott did a great job narrating this book.
