I absolutely loved this book such a good story line I was completely hooked the whole time. I would highly recommend reading this.

The story started like the predictable fairytale, soon dissolving into a nightmare. There is a 13 year gap between the main characters (18 and 31) which is integral to the storyline and dealt with throughout, so I spent the majority of this book nervous, waiting for the inevitable sh*t show to happen once all the details were made public. Quite enjoyed this book - the constant drama kept me thoroughly entertained!

I enjoyed it for the most part, but honestly it could have been shorter. Narration was mainly from the FMC perspective - only 2 chapters from MMC but was well read.

I adore this story. I love that it’s a love story but with added plot - something that is severely lacking in most of these types of books. The characters are true to themselves, there’s no sudden change in personality to fit in some extended drama just to torture the characters for no real reason. I wish more of these types of stories were so well thought out and executed!

I enjoyed this book. In the start, I was a little put off by the way this marriage started. A young girl and an older man who should make better decisions. But as the story folds out, I understand more, and I get less judgemental.
It is a "standard romance book" so you know what to expect, and this book does the job.
I recommend it!

I was looking forward to this based on reviews and synopsis but was disappointed at the lack of story and over sexed scenes which boarded on controlling and uneasiness sadly.

18 FMC, 35 MMC. This felt too much like grooming for me. Her age is mentioned a lot, and he calls her 'baby girl.' The narration is great and the writing is good. Just not for me.

This book started really well all the ingredients for an excellent listen were there but it dragged it was about 6 hours to long. The main story line ended 5 hours before the end and then nothing happened. Good book but really strangely executed. It would have liked to have seen more happen more storylines more details on the supporting characters.
