I don't know whether 'enjoy' is the right word for how I felt listening to this book. I really felt for the main character and often found myself shaking my head with sadness and frustration listening to their story. Clearly you know from the outset what happens in the end , but its still a shocker when the final event happens. It made me reflect on how I reacted to the story unfolding.

I only go for books about relationships every now and again - as I'm normally a sci-fi fan. However I'm glad I picked up this one..
The entire story weaves its way perfectly to a completely shocking and fantastic ending..
Although I did start to guess what the twist was within the last hour of the story, up until that time I had many other theories too - as the entire story is rich with information and diversions. However, even when my suspicions were finally confirmed.. I was still in shock at the revelation!
I'm actually going to start the book again so that I can pick it apart and listen for all the subtle clues.. I don't normally do that after a book.. so it's a testament to how well this tale is written.
I'll be looking out for this author again!

excellent read. I couldn't stop listening and the twist at the end had me going back to listen again to make sure I heard right.

This is the best book I’ve listened to in a long time. The characters are well developed and believable and I would never have guessed the twist at the end. I am almost tempted to listen to the book again now to see if I can spot any clues. The situation of the characters is very true to life and hit home as I know a Charlie and can identify with the patterns and reactions of Sal. I was sorry when this book finished and am off to look for more of the same author. The narrator deserves a mention to. No silly accents very clear and nice to listen to, she made a good story a real pleasure to listen to in this format.
