Amazing Story & Listen🎧Gripping, Intense & Steamy

Wow, this is my first book by Ivy Fox and she completely blew me away with this impressive story that is original, with interesting storylines that are captivating from start to end. There are a lot of Mafia books out there, but none quite like this one, and I loved how went about preventing future Mafia wars. In a Mafia world where men rule and treat their women as a commodity, it is a way of life for them, a way to bind or strengthen the family’s power in the Mafia world. A woman born into their family knows it is her duty, she can only hope her father chooses not only what is good for the family but for her as well. But Ivy Fox puts a unique spin on the arranged marriages in this book all for the sake of keeping the peace amongst the six ruling families from around the world who do business in the States. This first book of the series of interconnected standalone novels is Rosa Hernandez, daughter of the Mexican Cartel in Mexico City, and Tiernan Kelly, the son of the Irish Mafia in Boston. Their marriage was arranged for them ten years ago, but that does not make it any easier for Rosa, who is leaving her life and family behind, to live in Boston. Her husband to be has no interest in her, which makes matters even worse and that does not change after the wedding. Luckily, some of the Kellys were more welcoming and even friendly to her. And then Tiernan does the unthinkable, he treats her like crap and then pawns her off to his brother and cousin, Shay and Colin who are sympathetic to her. Rosa is not a doormat and pushes back, Tiernan has met his match in this woman, he just doesn’t know it yet. I loved how everything played out in this book, it is a brilliantly plotted story with plenty of drama, angst, some twists and turns, thrilling and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance, reverse harem style. Ivy Fox, thank you for this amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the fantastic narration, Alexander Neal and Maeve York were the perfect cast to bring these characters and story to life. They are talented narrators and versatile voice artists who had a complete understanding of the characters they were portraying, giving each a voice that suited that character’s persona and was believable in every role they played. Maeve York nailed it as Rose, grasping all sides of her personality, including her sass and strength. Alexander Neal cover the male roles with perfection and his take was spot on, from Tiernan’s broody alphatude to a more somber Colin to a cocky yet softer Shay. Both were great at performing the roles of the secondary characters as well. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them into their performance and had you feeling every single one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this amazing listen.

Great RH

Ivy Fox is another new author to me and I loved this Mafia reverse harem. When all the Mafia got together 10 years previous to find a way to stop the inevitable wars it was decided their daughter would marry so linking all of them together . Rosa was such a strong women she knew what she was heading into and knew she had to play her part and she didn’t take any bull from Tiernan .

Not what I was expecting

This has a totally different storyline to what I thought it would have. I really enjoyed the dynamic between these characters. It’s simplified to perfection. A brilliant performance from both Maeve and Alexander.

WOW

What a story. I was worried it was slow to start with but the story is so well written and worth every second of your time. The narration is amazing. I loved Rosa and all of the Kelly's. Can't recommend this enough.

Loved!!! Mafia romance but make it rh?! There isn’t enough of them honestly and this felt like a hidden gem people need to know about. This book had some of my most favourite tropes inside. Bodyguard romance, mafia, rh, dark romance all to create something so fun and exhilarating I enjoyed every second of it! I need more of this author, she’s just gained a new fan 🤩

First book in a series of 6 books called "Mafia Wars", each book written by different authors.

Each book focuses about a different couple chosen for an arranged marriage, the first book focuses on a couple Tiernen Kelly from the Irish mafia and Rosa Hernandez from the Mexican mafia.

But let's go back a bit, the book opens with a huge meeting where all the mafia head of the families from around the world and their heirs are present.
After years of violence, bloodshed, and funerals, six Mafia families have found what they hope will be the solution to ensuring peace, they must find the perfect solution, and what's the best offer? As in most mafia books - arranged marriages. Each mafia head writes the name of his daughter on a note and swear in blood, each one pulls out a note that will engrave the fate of his daughter which states that ten years from this day the weddings will begin and civility and the promise of peace will be established.
When it was the turn of Teirnan's father, the head of the Irish mafia, the name chosen for his successor was Rosa, the home of the head of the Mexican cartel.

Rosa's goal? Survive this marriage and break her husband's ice walls.
Teirnan's goal? Put a ring on Rosa, keep the wedding vows and ignore the existence of his wife whom he hates.

Throughout this book the characters go through a journey, I really liked Rosa's mental strength (seriously no one knows how to deal with an angry mobster husband and she plays his game soooo good🤭😈), I liked the different nature of each of the characters - Teirnan, Shay And Colin. Each one of them added to the book in their own way.
And maybe I'm biased but I liked Shay and Colin's characters more than Teirnan🙈😂

Amazing mafia world, add to it tropes of arranged marriages, RH, crazy kinky extra spicy, a strong heroine and 3 men who will melt your heart and you got this book❤️‍🔥

I enjoyed the book very much and I am curious to find out what will happen to the other 5 families 😍 I promise to keep updating until then. Highly recommended

A Sweet & Spicy Rose

This was my first title by Ivy Fox! She did a fantastic job drawing me in and making me want more! That's probably my biggest complaint. I'd liked more of everything and a better secondary plot twist. It was fine, but just a little weird. A first for me in RH! lol
Tiernan, Colin, and Shay were perfect for their roles! ;) Each had something I loved, and Rosa needed. I've read some of the other books, and other daughters were virtually trained assassins, but I loved Rosa's gentleness and willingness to love and make a family. Tiernan needed a hard smack! But every scene between Tiernan and Rosa was explosive! Oh, dirty talk for days! I loved it! I enjoyed her relationships and steamy times with all the fellas! lol
The Narrators were AMAZING!!!!! I loved Alexander's ability to take on the role of all 3 Kelly men!! His accent was fantastic, though sometimes I wish he kept it stronger longer! Maeve did an excellent job as well as Rosa! Both made for a very enjoyable book! FLOCKVIP! PINKFLAMINGOPRODUCTIONS!

On their knees

I loved this book Rosa has these men on their knees it takes a while but Tiernan. Shea, and Colin fall in love with her. The story was interesting having the daughters of powerful mafia men marry into families to prevent war for escalating and to preserve the families as well. I am all in on this series and how to listen to more soon. Definitely one of my favorites listens this year.

Dark Reverse Harem Mafia Romance

Binding Rose by Ivy Fox is a dark reverse harem mafia romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Alexander Neal and Maeve York.

This book is part of the Mafia Wars world. Each book is written by a different author and can be read as a standalone.

This was the first book of Ivy's that I have read, and it won't be my last. She pulled me in from the first chapter and I couldn't to see what was going to happen next. The best way I can describe the relationship between Rosa, Tiernan, Shay, and Colin is messy! But the chemistry between them is off the charts! You can't help but root for them to work it out. I loved getting all of their points of views throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

I originally read the book when it was first released and was so excited when it was announced that it was coming to audio, and I was not disappointed. Alexander and Maeve did an amazing job on the narration. They both really know how to bring a story to life. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would highly recommend this book if you like reverse harems, dark romances, mafia romances, or romantic suspense.
