A superb example of Reichs at her best
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I couldn't possibly tell you as I don't want to risk spoiling the story. A real roller coaster of a ride.

A Suitable Sequel
This book turned out to be a worthy sequel to the storyline first started in the book 'Monday Mourning.'
Monday Mourning was the first Kathy Reichs book I ever read, and I often wonder if there could be more to the story.
There was. And it's been done very well.
Without giving the story away, what I will say is if you like Kathy Reichs, or if you enjoyed Monday Mourning then you should not be disappointed with this tale.
Added in the good job the narrator does and you have a story that quite happily whittles away several hours. If you want to know how it ends be prepared to set aside enough time to listen to the whole thing at once. I had a day off, and it filled the time nicely.
The only disappointment I have with the later Temperance Brennan books is the Chow dog seems to have vanished. We hear other animals mentioned, but not the Chow, and as a lover of Chows it would be nice to find out his fate. For better or worse.
But hey, that's a personal thing and no way demerits the story, so top marks all round from me.

Not among my favourite Kathy Reichs books
I found it difficult to stick with this book. I have enjoyed the previous books by Kathy Reichs but this seemed too complicated and too contrived. I was bored by the end. I think the narrator did a reasonable job with a difficult book but it wasn't an easy listen.

What made the experience of listening to Bones Never Lie the most enjoyable?
Well researched, plotted, written and read.
What does Katherine Borowitz bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you had only read the book?
Katherine's reading of the novel showed her understanding of the characters and plot
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
No but I got plenty of ironing done !!:-)
Any additional comments?
will keep it for revisiting and I don't think there is high praise.
