About this listen
From #1 New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout comes the thrilling conclusion to her beloved Flesh and Fire series…
The line between love and obsession has never been wider.
While Sera is finally free of Kolis and back with those she loves, not everything is calm. Memories of all she’s endured still haunt her, but Sera finally has hope for a future with the other half of her heart and soul. Nyktos desires, loves, and accepts every part of her—even the monstrous bits she still battles.
More than ever, Sera and Ash have everything under the realms to fight for, and Nyktos has no doubt Sera is fit to be the Queen of the Gods. But she must find that faith within herself if they hope to convince the other Courts to support them against Kolis and make Iliseeum and the mortal realm better, safer places for all.
But as Sera begins to piece together the importance of her bloodline and the true meaning behind the foreboding prophecy, it becomes clear that everything that has happened and is yet to come is much bigger than Kolis and his dark obsessions.
They cannot help but wonder exactly how much influence the Fates have had and what their ultimate goal is. What Sera does know for sure is that they can trust very few—including her.
A battle between the gods is brewing, and heartbreaking losses are imminent with the true Primal of Death strengthening. With a family of the heart willing to battle by their side, can Sera and Nyktos stop Kolis before he destroys the realms, or will it all disappear in a fiery inferno of blood and ash?
And the line between justice and vengeance has never been so thin.

What … wow! Praise the queen jla
All hail the true queen of the realms for a fantastic conclusion to the flesh in fire series! Gave us plenty of meat to chew on with plenty of angst and laughter n cutsie pieces too! Please be aware of the trigger warnings!!! It’s supremely well written by a professional though! Just perfection!

Love
Waited so long for this story, really looked forward to the link and mostly wasn't disappointed. I did think it was a bit slow to get started. The story really gets going about a third in & I was a bit disappointed we didn't get to meet the twins and see Ash & Sera as parents. They are still absolutely my favourite couple. The trigger warning is needed and topic was dealt with well. I'm going to go back and read about Poppy and Casteel from the start of their story now & I hope that when their final book arrives Ash & Sera make an appearance.

Too sad to not get to follow their lives further.
A great listen, a long listen and not one part dragged or over written. Loved it, as I have the whole series. Ash and Sera are just 🙌. Not enough Reeva or Nektas! Stina did a perfect job of narrating - not over done at all.

Gripping to the end
The fourth and final installment from this series does not disappoint! A must listen, but I recommend you start at book 1 in the series to enjoy Nyktos and Sera's full journey together.
You will fall in love with them, just like I have. But be ready for an emotional rollercoaster!
The side characters will also have you both laughing ( great humour in their banter) and crying (not all that happens is happy ever after ) along the way.
I also recommend you listen From Blood &Ash series first as well to avoid the spoilers from this Prequel series. The twists and turns in that series deserve to be enjoyed in their own right. Reading these books will dampen the experience!
Start listening and enjoy!

She never disappoints me
The perfect conclusion for the story. I did take a bit too long to read as I needed to enjoy the last and final book as always. It was so worth the time

Just so captivating
I love this series, I love Sera, I love Daddy Nyktos. I love every single Dracon.
I honestly think the first 5 hours were pointless 😆 You absolutely do not need to re-read anything before reading this, every single thought Sera has ever had is vocalised! Once the story got going it was truly great.
I feel like the end was quite rushed, and all the discoveries could have been mulled over more, but truly such a great book. Stina is awesome.

Good ending for the series!
3.5-4ish/5 ⭐️
3/5 🌶️
Mrs Armentrout did it again!!
The final instalment of The Fire in the Flesh series.
Chunky book, but It was addictive, the "one more chapter" kept me awake way pass midnight, I just couldn't put it down.
There is so much explained in this book. Most of the questions we had from the "From Blood and Ash" series make sense now; new information is revealed about the history of our beloved and of others not so beloved characters.
I cannot wait to see what Jennifer will do with the character of Poppy, But I keep wondering ..what about Casteel…. I have more questions now…
All and all a good read, it could have been great, but:
1. The first 30-40% was a bit too much going around Sera's PTSD. We could have use the time seeing the creation of Kieran's kin.
2. And I was expected dual narration at this point… bit disappointed on that front.
