About this listen
If all they see are her scars - they aren't looking hard enough.
It was my home run ball that shattered her face. Right along with her modeling career. Now it's my mission to help her rebuild her life. And get her to love the game that she hates. The game that dictates my life both on and off the field.
But when the lines of our friendship become blurred, I worry she'll just be another casualty of my three-strikes rule. The rule I have to protect my money, my future, my heart. No girl has ever broken it. I've never wanted one to. Until now.
The question is...will I let her?

Catching Caden
This story travels the emotions, with love, hate and mortification not getting them down. Read brilliantly again by Erin Mallon and Zachary Webber.

Sweet Caroline
I'm still swooningover it Caden is perfect and utterly amazing. I enjoyed every minute of this book, I laughed, swooned and cursed a tid bit, I wasn't able to put it down until the end.
This is really everything I look forward when reading a book, fun, light, swoon-wordy and sweet. The characters are great, the chemistry between Murphy and Caden is perfect and all the nicknames he gave to her where fabulous and a really make the book great. Their friends and family are the best, and I can't wait to read Brady story.
The narration is perfect you can't expect anything less from Zachary Weber and Erin Mallon, their performances were absolutely amazing.

Good book
This book was a good read and my first book by this author. I don’t want to give away spoilers but I really enjoyed the story and the slow burn romance although a bit more sexual chemistry between the 2 characters would have made it even better. I did have an issue with the way almost every other girl was written by the author especially her house mates and fan girls. They where all portrayed as hateful, bitches, sluts, seething with jealousy some even going to extreme lengths to get Caden at a party with date rape drugs I mean it was a really over excessive. There was good character development for book 2 and tbh the only thing that’s putting off book 2 is that I’m not a big fan of Erin Mallon the narrator but Zachary is a favourite of mine though so I might give it a go

Awful narration
I am very sorry to say but the male narrator here, Zachary Webber, is awful at narrating..it’s like he is reading a telephone directory minus any intonations or excitement. His narration is very dry, very monotone and about as exciting as a wet match - just drones on without any emotion, inflection or feeling. Honestly, good narration can make or break a listener’s enjoyment and this just didn’t cut it.

A lot of winging
What truly awful characters. And if the story is not enough, the readers exacerbate the problem.
I love Zachary Webber's voice, but his deadpan style of reading kills the story. He doesn't need to go all theatrical, just a little inflection would be nice.
admittedly, Erin Mallon didn't have the best material here; but she did help to create one of the dumbest and most self centered heroines I have read.
