the performance of the VA among some of the best I've heard and adds a lot to the overall experience. The book itself is cheerful and easy to listen too, yet hard to put down.

I have to admit that when I first saw this series I wasn't sure I'd actually like it, but I gave the 1st one a try. And now I'm writing this review after recently finishing the 5th book.
I found the whole series really enjoyable and laughed out loud often, mainly due to how the lead character interacts with others.
So if you like RPGLit, I'd say give it a try.

picked this series up on a whim as liked ravens daggers other story stray cat strut. intially didn't think much of it as the story and main character seemed genuinely like a character from a kids Pc cartoon but i once got through the first few chapters of set up. it hooked me and I discovered a surprising amount of depth and jokes that landed for me and how well it all mixed with broccoli's almost willfully niave and sugary sweet wholesome personality in a way tha both worked with and contrasted both the sprinkling of adult jokes, witty moments and surprising way things worked out in ways that a more conventional litrpg main character would never have managed.

A fun light-hearted adventure with lots of good humor and fun references.

The narration was excellent too, ood character voices and plenty enthusiasm that fit wel with our exuberant protagonist.

So short 5 star reviews tend to look like fakeys, but I don't think this series needs fake reviews to stand. I love the characters, I love the goofiness, I love the wholesome of it, and as you get further into the series the world becomes more interesting and the concept of an utterly pure soul is challenged and played with in ways which make me not just enjoy the series but respect it.

Cinnamon Bun is what happens when you take the rapid progression and corny dungeon crawling of a litRPG and turn it instead into a long character study of an absolutely pure soul, a person who can not willingly do wrong, and will understand, even if she can't condone. Its a nice change of pace, I would have said its a 1 book wonder if that was alll, but it isn't, the cast she builds and the people she meets and the places she goes challenge Broccoli's world view in ways that make for lovable and meaningful character moments and character interplay.

Damn good series, an easy read with a little more going on than its premise, and a sense of humor to carry it, can't wait for book 6!

yet it is so incredibly honest, and the main character is so true to herself it just makes me warm and fuzzy inside.

A story of unabridged innocence and optimism. Pure childish joy in novel form. If you need a little bit of your old innocence restored engaging with this is where you can get it.
