Summary
A single dad sheriff doing his best to protect his town. A gorgeous stranger caught trespassing. A love never expected…
So, it turns out the town sheriff is a total cinnamon roll. A big, burly, grumpy, hot as sin, cinnamon roll. He found me hiding out on private property. Trespassing. I lied and told him I was only there because I was out of cash and had to sleep in my car.
I thought he’d give me a ticket and send me on my way.
Instead, he insisted that I stay at his guest house—right next door to him and his three kids.
I know better than to let them get close. I’ve been betrayed too many times to put my trust in anyone.
Too bad the air crackles every time he comes near, and I feel like I’m going to burn up every time I look at him.
All it takes is one reckless night to completely spiral into the bliss of the man and his big, capable hands. One dinner with his little family to completely fall.
Only I never told him why I really came to Time River. Now I have to choose to trust him with my secret before it’s too late for both of us…

The Whole Story Is Beautifully Written
Wow another great read in this series, I loved it! The plot was incredible and so interesting. I just love how it pulls you in from the beginning. There was suspense, mystery, angst, romance and a single dad!!! Ezra is an amazing character, I like how loving and caring he is. He is so sweet with his kids and the best father to them. Savannah was great, she had her walls up but Ezra and his kids were able to get through them and show her the love she needed.
Savannah is a survivor, she has been through so much. She’s a wonderful soul, I enjoyed her friendship with the girls from Time River, they all so loving and their nickname for her was so cute.
Ezra has closed off his heart since his wife, he was never interested in anyone until Savannah. He felt something he had never felt before. I absolutely adored the way Ezra calls his kids, it’s so unique and unthought of.
The kids added to the adorableness factor. I enjoyed all the chapters even more with them. I liked how they interacted with Savannah as well. From the moment they met her they just didn’t want to let her go. Absolute cuteness.

Claim Me Forever: Time River Book 3
🎧🎧AUDIO REVIEW🎧🎧
PERFORMANCE: 4 STARS
Narrated by Zachary Webber & Desiree Ketchum. I think they both did an exceptional job bringing Ezra & Savannah and their story to life. However, Zachary’s narration pacing was not on point for me, and I honestly can’t think of a time I felt like this about one of his narrations. When he conversed, he came across naturally, but his inner monologues were stilted and came across as being *read* and not narrated. It’s a fine point in reviewing, but narration is part of the experience, and his just didn’t make me smile *shrug* so I had to point it out.
STORY: 4.5 STARS
I’ve enjoyed Jackson’s writing style from the moment I discovered her a few years back, and even tho her prose is more often than not, not typical, and she tends to repeat adjectives which I assume is to emphasize the descriptor, she is one of the better storytellers out there. Her storylines are rarely out of the norm, and she always has something hidden in the shadows that turns a story on a dime and everything you thought was going to happen more than likely you thought wrong! LOL That last part I LOVE about her style. She turned this story on its head for me at the twelfth hour and it just had me spinning. It was a really good story until then. Once she spined it, it became extra for me. I almost rewound my audiobook and started again because surely I had missed a clue … spoiler alert, I had not. WELL DONE! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
I’m sad that I haven’t had a chance to read and/or listen to Don’t Forget Me Tomorrow (book 2 in the series), not because I felt I’d missed out for the storyline’s sake, but because this is a close, tightknit community and they’re all involved in each other’s lives whether by blood or by choice so I did feel adrift a bit but the story does truly stand on its own. It was an expertly unfolded storylines with plot points that made sense, and all moved the story forward, even the dramatic ones! The characters and relationships were all very well developed and also grew as the story progressed. I was highly entertained and on my toes at every turn. Again, well done!
#FunTidbit: I don’t know whose idea it was to use *little trespasser* as the term of endearment, but if I did, I’d have questions. It was great a few times and it also hit the mark a few times but overall, no. lololol When I think about how many times I yelled (not in my head), “stop calling her that it is not as sexy as you think it is”, I laugh out loud like a lunatic. Like right now. ON THE FLOOR LAUGHING. If you’re wondering how this could possibly have ridden my very last nerve, it’s because Ezra used the term of endearment 55 times. Yes, FIFTY.FIVE. You may now laugh on the floor as well. Lololol

Savannah and Ezra!
Savannah did not have a good childhood, but the one constant had been the special relationship she shared with her sister. It’s been two years since she heard from her, but she believes Time River will hold the answers she is looking for except the Sheriff seems to be there every time she turns around trying to thwart her search.
Ezra is the Sheriff and has been raising his three young children since his wife passed away. Due to the unexpected feelings he has for her he knows that he should keep his distance but it isn’t long before she finds herself renting his guest house and she becomes a part of his family before they even realize it.
Savannah doesn’t trust easily or allow many people close but not only do Ezra and his children breach her walls but so do his close group of friends and they show her that she is no longer alone when it matters the most. The pacing of the audiobook and the way the narrators brought depth to the characters only had you more invested in seeing their story unfold.

A Great Cinnamon Roll
Well that was a twist I didn't see coming! I love when an author constantly surprises me and Claim Me Forever delivered that. Amy has such a way of weaving a good dose of suspense in with her romance to really get you hooked. This story had me gripped from the start. Our fmc Savannah was such a mystery to start with I was constantly coming up with theories and how it would pan out and was wrong at every turn. Ezra was swoon worthy. He was protective and gruff when he had to be, demanding in certain areas 😉 and sweet and loving all rolled into one.
“𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒆 𝒅𝒆𝒔𝒆𝒓𝒗𝒆𝒔 𝒂 𝒔𝒂𝒇𝒆 𝒑𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂𝒉. 𝑳𝒆𝒕 𝒎𝒆 𝒃𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔. 𝑬𝒗𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒇 𝒊𝒕’𝒔 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒂 𝒍𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆.”
His kids really stole my heart in this story they were so damn cute!
The audio for this one was off the charts Zachary Webber was such a brilliant casting for Ezra i could listen to him all day. Desireé Ketchum also did a wonderful job with Savannah. She really brought the emotion to life. I would defiantly recommend the audio if audio is your jam. Claim Me Forever was a great addition to the Time River series and I can't wait for more from Amy.

Single Dad Grumpy Hero That Has Stolen My Heart!
“𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒍𝒐𝒔𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒎𝒚 𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒅? 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒊𝒔 𝒊𝒕 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒎𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒔𝒔 𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 𝒍𝒊𝒏𝒆?”
Single dad + grumpy + three adorable kids ready to steal my heart written by AL Jackson?? I am sold!! Olivia and the twins were so precious. If you know me, you know I love some babies in my books and those three little O’s just made my heart so full. They brought the levity that was needed during this angsty read that pulled on my heart strings.
“𝐈’𝐦 𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐲𝐨𝐮’𝐫𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐚 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐟𝐮𝐥, 𝐄𝐳𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧.”
“𝑾𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇, 𝑳𝒊𝒕𝒕𝒍𝒆 𝑻𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒑𝒂𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒓, 𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖’𝒓𝒆 𝒈𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒐 𝒇𝒊𝒏𝒅 𝒐𝒖𝒕.”
Savannah had grit, fire and single-minded dedication to her mission no matter how dangerous. She was in Time River for one thing and one thing only and it definitely wasn’t love. But, what she hadn’t counted on was the grumpy sheriff disrupting her plans. That Ezra tried his best to keep his heart closed but his little trespasser bulldozed her way in without even trying. I’m going to be honest with y’all, my heart and panties seriously just melt for a cinnamon roll and Ezra was it. When I say that filthy mouth was the opposite of sweet though?? I mean hot dang. He and Savannah’s love story was so sweet, so steamy, and just full of every single feel. Ezra was also not to be played with, while he was sweet to those he loved, he wouldn’t hesitate to take you out if you messed with what was his. Jackson for sure kept me on my toes. I swear the whole time I had one theory and she completely flipped the script and shook me!! Ezra and Savannah’s story was everything. I hated to see it end.
“𝒀𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒍𝒆 𝒎𝒚 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒉 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒔𝒆𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒅 𝑰 𝒔𝒂𝒘 𝒚𝒐𝒖, 𝑺𝒂𝒗𝒂𝒏𝒏𝒂𝒉 𝑾𝒂𝒓𝒅. 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝒎𝒐𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑰 𝒔𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒚 𝒇𝒍𝒂𝒔𝒉𝒍𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒕 𝒊𝒏𝒕𝒐 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓 𝒄𝒂𝒓 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝒇𝒐𝒖𝒏𝒅 𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒔𝒆 𝒆𝒚𝒆𝒔 𝒔𝒕𝒂𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌. 𝑰𝒕 𝒈𝒖𝒕𝒕𝒆𝒅 𝒎𝒆, 𝒍𝒐𝒐𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖. 𝑨𝒏𝒅 𝒏𝒐𝒘, 𝒔𝒆𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔? 𝑰’𝒎 𝒂𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒊𝒅 𝑰’𝒎 𝒄𝒐𝒎𝒑𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒓𝒆𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒅.”
Zachary Webber and Desireè Ketchum were absolutely amazing! These two were the perfect Ezra and Savannah and their narration just heightened the tension, mood, suspense and emotion of story making for an unputdownable read.

Be Still My Heart!
Oh AL Jackson. Be still my heart. This book has all the feels with some suspense thrown in creating a listen that is just what I love! First, let me say, single dad is one of my kryptonites, and I loved Olivia, Owen and Oliver. These three made the story come alive with the humor, from koalas to fun invitations. Their father Ezra has been a widow for several years, and has not moved on. Really hasn't been interested as he deals with his own guilt. That is until he meets Savannah. Savannah is in town with her own agenda, and it's not one that she will reveal. Circumstances land her in the guest house at Ezra's and the chemistry that has been brewing between them comes to a head. But they both know, Savannah isn't staying. She is there for a reason, and once she finds what she has come looking for, she is out of there. Right? But life always throws curve balls, and the fun at Ezra's house is never ending. There is some unusual danger happening in town though, and it's coming to a head. It seems to focus around the death of Ezra's wife, or could it be the reason Savannah is in town? As things progress, it becomes evident that Ezra is going to have to do what it takes to keep the love of his life alive. Jackson had me on the edge, wondering who to trust, is the reason Savannah is in town real, will the love between the two really last and how could anyone ever leave those kids? I was captivated and loved every minute of this installment of the Time River Series. It's amazing.
Then Jackson casts Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum to tell the story. How can it get better? Webber is incredible as always, bringing the feels to Ezra, but I am partial to his kid voices and fell in love with the kids immediately. Ketchum brings out all the emotions in Savannah as she navigates he new found feelings and her old as she seeks her reason. These two together are magic and made this book come alive.

Loved this story and narration!
Audio Review - dual narration by Desiree Ketchum and Zachary Webber
Claim Me Forever, was a swoon-worthy listen about Ezra and Savannah. Their story captured my attention from the beginning and held it until the very end. Savannah is new to Time River in search of her sister, and has her first run in with the sheriff, Ezra, when she is caught trespassing while sleeping in her car. The sparks flew immediately between them, and they danced around their attraction for a short time. Ezra, a single father of 3 adorable kids is reserved and not sure he is ready with other situations still weighing on him. They both have secrets but little by little they confide in one another, and as suspicious activities start happening around them, they are on alert. The mystery and suspense surrounding this story was intriguing and had me guessing a few times. I loved Savannah's immediate connection with Ezra's children and how their relationship bloomed. Those kids melted my heart. This was a great addition to this series and one I highly recommend.
The audiobook was so well done, and Zachary Webber's performance reminded me why I love his narration! He nailed the kid voices every time. Desiree Ketchum was a delight to listen to and they both were able to pull me into this fictional world and feel every emotion. Their voices complimented each other and made this a fantastic audio listen.

I enjoyed it!
This is the third book in the Time River Series, a single dad small town romance. Ezra and Savannah's story is sweet, emotional, fun, and heartwarming. I liked the suspense in the story. They are both enigmatic characters. Savannah is beautiful, kind, smart, and supportive. Ezra, a single dad sheriff, is handsome, grumpy, caring, and protective. His kids, Olivia, Owen and Oliver, are adorable! The storyline is engaging, and beautifully written. Zachary Webber and Desiree Ketchum did an excellent job bringing these characters and this story to life. I enjoyed it.

Dual narration ♥️
This one melted my heart, and my entire being 🫠 Being my first book in the series I had no idea what to expect; but a Single Dad + Sheriff romance never disappoints in my eyes.
I really enjoyed the narration, these two just made this beautiful love story all the more beautiful 😍
