Summary
Art dealer Ruby Lambert is on a mission to lose her baby weight ahead of her sister Olivia’s wedding in six months’ time.
To add fuel the fire, Ruby has also been ‘honoured’ with the unenviable task of being head bridesmaid. So determined not to let Olivia down, she signs up to a swanky new diet and fitness club, The Bluebell Booty Busters.
Uncertain of what to expect, Ruby meets Harry Small, a wealthy local businessman who joins Booty Busters, after pressure from his wife, who’s worried about his health and growing waistline.

Lovely, witty, feel good fun!
Definitely rings several bells with the slimming club references. A light-hearted, warm and funny book that saw me through a difficult time. Perfect antidote to long, sad journeys late at night, keeping my attention and helping me to see that life gets better. Thank you!

When successful art dealer Ruby’s sister Olivia is due to get married, it should be a wonderful occasion. But Ruby is dreading it as she is curvy and took a year off after having her baby boy Simon she has piled on the pounds. After splitting with the father of her child who omitted to mention he was not single she is off men. She decides to join The Bluebell Booty Busters in an effort to lose weight. She has six months to lose her target weight.
There she meets the only man in the group Harry Small a successful businessman. So funny as he is well over 6ft. Harry joins the group after his wife gives him an ultimatum lose weight or she is leaving. He is so desperate to hold onto his barely two year marriage so he complies. He wife continually says things like leaving his socks for her to pick up, or if he eats biscuits in bed and if she has to clear away the crumbs “it’s unreasonable behaviour” a term that will come back to haunt him.
Both Harry and Ruby have signed up to the top plan which means all their meals are included. The meals are delicious but seem far too good to be true…
There are lots of laughs, pranks and drama all set around the beautiful Dorset beaches and countryside, where love has a way of creeping up when least expected…
