Beware: spoiler!
But I still want to write - why, why, WHY it was necessary to kill the father of triplets??? Why almost all detective writers kill main charaters - policemen? And often those most adorable and loved by readers.
Otherwise - another piece to enjoy from both authors. Story to be continued as the main characters were left alive.

Really enjoyed this audiobook, l kept trying to guess how the story would continue, but there were some greats twists in it.
I’m quite picky when it comes to narrators, but Sofia has a pleasant voice and cannot pick anything about her narration that I didn’t like.

Great narration and the ending was unexpexted

Loved the previous book, listened to it several times, and was really excited about this one.
What a letdown. Very slow paced, story diverges to a lot of secondary characters, which I did not care for. Main characters acted idiotictly at the end. What is a race against time to save x, should have already been taken care of chapters before... Honestly ruined it for me, almost had to stop.

Also why the change of narrator? The one in the first book was fantastic. Narrator for this book was, sorry to say, blend. Now every names are pronounced in Swedish which throw me off a loop. Sure it's a Swedish author, but why not be consistent with what was done before?
I was so looking forward to it... Purely disappointed.

Disappointing

I’m a big fan of Camilla Lackberg, read all her books, and enjoyed the other one in this series ‘Trapped’ but ‘Cult’ was hard work. Nothing much happens in the first 60 chapters; there is a lot of descriptive narrative - e.g about the dog, people’s clothes, the passing scenery, someone’s bedroom - that adds nothing to the plot and is simply padding.
Shame as, once it got going, the plot was well crafted. I agree with another review that using the Swedish pronunciation , for characters I was already familiar with, was just annoying!

Nowhere near as good as ‘Trapped’
